I presume he's another scouted by John Park.

Park knows a player when he sees one so I'll trust his judgement on this one. The bhoy certainly sounds like a great prospect.

I like the fact that this guy is a physical player, something which I think we lacked a bit last season. You look at some of the games we dropped points in last season and there was an element of being out-fought and out-battled in these games where we dropped points, so I am glad Lennon is looking to add more physicality to the team.

He sounds ready made for SPL football - he's a big, strong and powerful player which is what the SPL is mostly about, so the style of football should suit him no problem.

I have faith in Lennon when it comes to bringing players in as he brought in some terrific signings last season, so I am very optimistic about this lad.

Why should we NOT be happy by this??? The fact that so far all bar 1 (murphy) of Lennons signings have been pretty much unknowns that no BIG TEAMS have been after have turned out to be * SUPERB signings which would inturn lead me to believe Lennon knows what the * he is doing and therefor this signing should couse excitment amongst fans! lets flip it round, why should we NOT be excited by this?? Dont you have faith in lennons judgement??

Edit just read post above mine that explains your point better!!

No but they are two good teams, two of the top in Belgium and they obviously want to sign him. So its no different to when us and the huns want someone from the SPL.

Liege do have a really good youth team though and sold Fellaini to Everton for £12million the other year :86: they also produce a lot of Belgiums best players like Fellaini, Van Buyten, Witsel, Mirallas and Defour all came from Liege.

Also Beerschot have a decent history of identifying good younsgeters. Vermaelen of Arsenal, Vertoghnen and Alderwiereld of Ajax, Dembele of Fulham all played for their youth teams.

Juarez is a proven international and featured prominently at the 2010 World Cup. Murphy also has ability, but with the form both Hooper and Stokes were showing last season, he rarely got a start ahead of either of them.

And mate, stop making a fool of yourself and dishing out the personal insults. It doesn't make you big and it doesn't make you smart. You're beginning to sound like one of those school kids trying to impress his mates with his "patter" :56:

deal close, seems like a promising young talent

plus you can never really have too many good central mids, after all losing kayal and ledley to injury late last season seriously dented our title chances

looking forward to the kenyan *! :50:
