With Loko interested in him for 3m it is clear that the support are divided over whether he should be sold or not.

Personally I want him to stay but what does everyone else think?

I'd put him on a lead and walk him to Moscow for 3 mill, infact I'd do that on a free transfer, hes hopeless, offers nothing what so ever, apart from 1 game a season

Loves the club, plays for the jersey. We have no one who offers what he does. Quick, good in the air, physical presence, holds the ball in, runs the channels well. He will be invaluable if we qualify for Europe next season.

£3m is a good offer. As Immortal said in the other thread:

    :50:

3 goals a season is pathetic.

He's a * player, he failed miserably in England. Fans of other teams laugh at the fact we play Samaras. Get the donkey to *.

Still think he's a good squad player to have, he offers a totally different style of play to our other strikers, looks best when we play against rangers or when teams decide to come out and have a go so he has space to work with, same way he looked good for Greece in the world cup, he's wasted against most spl teams but might be worth keeping for europe.

Unless we have a similar style of player lined up to replace him for less money than we'll sell him for, then it's good business to let him go.

Sell him even if the offer is £1.5 million, he has never lived up to expectations. Yes two goals in one game against Rangers made him a hero in some peoples eyes, but his influence per game is very poor.

We could do a lot better than Samaras, even using just £1.5 Million in today's market.

I am totally torn on my opinion of Sammy. He can look world class one minute and a complete donkey the next. If an offer of £3m came in I would consider it a good bit of business and would accept it.

If it was a matter of one minute being world class and the next being a donkey he would be worth keeping. However, the reality is that he looks class for one minute and is awful for the next 1000.

Can't honestly believe someone has actually offered, or are thinking about offering £3m.

I'd bite their hand off for it and buy Long with the funds!

Think about it. With the amount of time Sammy has spent on the park this season he should have scored far more goals.

    Even an extra 10.

If that had happened, especially in certain games, i.e. 3 x draws around Nov/Dec, penalty miss v huns, etc, we would have won the league.

It's a no brainer - a better striker, with an actual goals return is what wins you leagues.

    So Sammy :bbpd:

Yeah I'd take 3m for him. I think he could be worth a bit more, 3m would do wonders for bringing in new talent.

The reality is for 3m we could get a player of the same style( Speed, Hold up player) that can actually score more than 3 a season. They offer big money in Russia because of the oil and offer huge salaries. Sammy could stay with me in Moscow until he gets fixed lol.

I'd absolutely take 3m for him. The guy has talent but he doesn't show it anywhere near often enough. 2 or 3 great games a season isn't good enough. Would LOVE to be proved wrong though.

Just think guys - for £3m we could actually buy a footballer.

One that could pass to a team mate, stay on his feet, and score goals - brilliant!!!!!!

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE - go now Sammy.
