Want him to stay. He not played much for the past month and he had a wee stint out the squad for a bit at the start. I remember being at Hamilton away when he started his 1st in a while and he was * the whole night then got a pen at the end and scored a header which was disallowed rightly so. And I knew a few people who thought that was the end for stokesy or they wanted it to be. I said to them whn Hoopers back get thEm fired up top together and they will bang them in! And they did. Then They were split up at every OF game and now they barely ever play together.

ICT away, Hearts away Rangers, Dundee Utd, those types etc plus Europe. I don't think the manager trusts that he's good enough and I'm the same.

Hooper was murder at Ibrox that day and Stokes won the penalty. Doesn't mean to say we wouldn't have lost if he started the match and playing for Hibs is a completely different ballgame opposed to Glasgow derby.

I really can't get why a lot of fans would settle for what didn't win us the title last season, especially when Rangers are spending 4 million on their front men. Keane and Hooper or Stokes and Hooper?

This pretty much sums him up. We do better without him.

    I really hope he stays.

I'm sure Hooper prefers to play with him rather than Samaras as Stokes's play is urgent and almost one touch link up play while Samaras drops deep and can dilly-dally on the ball too often.
We have had some * strikers recently,it would be silly to let one go that can score regularly in the SPL.

Your personal dislike of him is verging on ridiculous.

I find it quite baffling that anyone wants to get rid of a 19 goal striker who didn't cost much and probably doesn't earn much.

I would like to see us buying a big, powerful striker for good money in the summer and punt Sammy and Murphy but there is no way in * I'd get rid of Stokesy. He needs to wind his neck in and stop moaning when he gets subbed or doesn't get a game though.

Robbie Keane is nearly 31 and on around £65k a week, I think those kind of wages could go towards 2 or maybe even 3 quality signings and not a striker who will probably bearly last another 2 seasons. Don't get me wrong he is no doubt a quality striker but the money can be better spent as we weren't exactly stragling to score goals this season and I doubt he would have got many more than Hooper or Stokes who are in their early 20's and don't cost the Earth to pay.

Apparently he's pulled out of the Ireland squad for all 4 games coming up because he's "tired." Considering he hasn't played much in the last few games, I find that kind of humorous. I know it's been a long season, but that's probably the case for all the players playing internationally. This guy is quite moody and I would not be surprised if he left in the summer.

So we keep Samaras? Unbelievable. 3 league goals this season, including a penalty. That's accepable is it? Personally I'm * embarrassed that Samaras plays for us. Fans of other teams just laugh at him, and rightly so BECAUSE HE'S A * DONKEY!

Samaras could be useful up front for the Europa league. Away games 4-5-1.

Samaras hasn't been scoring but he rips teams a new * when he does.

To buy a player who does the sammy role would cost us £4-6m.

Also, needed for 451 at ipox, europe..Stokes and Hooper are pish on their own.

So he's ripped a team an * twice this season then. What a great return in the SPL.

4-6m? The going rate's high for totally useless goal-allergic donkeys who can't even score in Scotland then?

So you think we should drop Hooper and Stokes against Rangers and play Samaras up front on his own next season? Wow.

For someone with pace who wins headrs and runs the channels well? yes.

At Ibrox? Yes. Undefeated there this season, twice sammy tore them apart and he ran them ragged when he came on in the replay.

    So aye, WOW.
