Can't believe the stick Lenny is getting from some people, you sound more like huns than Celtic fans. This is a man who may still yet deliver the league, a man who has had the better of rangers and therefore the better of the man with no surname in the 8 games he's had the team against them, a man who has transformed the team inside a year playing good football to go with it and has brought true quality into the team, proving he has an eye for both a player and a bargain. He has defended the club with passion, honesty, clarity and courage. He has done all the above whilst under the most extreme pressure in both his private and public life. Not many managers we could afford could have done much better.

Absolutely pathetic thread. I Cant believe what Im reading. Ok a couple of mistakes. But they are only mistakes cos they didnt come off. How many groaned when samaras was picked against the huns. Then went wild when he scored 2. If he hadnt scored. You would all be saying why the * did he pick him . Larsson missed penalties and some one on ones. Does that make him *. No it doesnt. The keeper chose the right side. Sometimes it doesnt pay off. And it didnt on Wednesday. But more times than not it does pay off. i for one stand behinds our leader. . Fantastic first season. so far Lennon.great signings as well.

The fact that you are a Celtic fan is irrelevant, we all are. You have been far too critical, and its actually pretty nasty as well.

Two finals and a pt behind with 3 games to go. You saying you wouldnt have accepted this at the start of the season?

what players have i slagged?? i agreed that maloney had a shocker the other night thats the only one i can think off..well i think we have some GREAT players at the club... Stokes,Hooper.Izzaguire,Kayal,Ledley to name just a few but its a pity we have a rookie manager who has * it up..i dont need to prove my celtic credentials to anyone...theres more to supporting Celtic than supporting Neil Lennon. & sometimes when something has to be said then it has to be said if that makes me unpopular then so be it

No, if you belive lennon is not the rite man then that's your opinion and that does not make u a hun, but you constent hounding of a man who in my eyes has done well, fielded the strogest team when possible and won important games ( yes not all them). But still being undeafted at mordor is not luck. So your constant hounding of a man who is the celtic manager makes me think that your a hun.

In other words, if we win our three remaining games, and Rangers drop points at Motherwell, then Neil Lennon is a brilliant manager.

And if we win our three remaining games, and Rangers don't drop points, he is crap & should never have been appointed in the first place.

    Right you are.

In Lenny's time as our manager, his SPL record is:
    Played 43 : Won 34 Drawn 5 Lost 4

That's a superb record in your first professional season, whether we win the league or not.

    how is it a disaster?

2 finals and still in with a chance of winning the league with 3 games left is not a disaster.

i agree lawell/ desmond carry the can but unfortunately there isnt exactly a queue of rich benefactors wanting to plough money into celtic. anyway, what good would that do under the new uefa fair play rules coming into force?
lawell should have been sacked for selling miller when burns rip and strachan begged him not to. the fall out from that madness cost us two league chiampionships and for what? the pricely sum of 2 million. lawell has been told by dermot to balance the books and * everything else.
the problem with lawell is he makes financial decisions that impact the football side of the business without having a clue about the latter. but like i said i doubt dermot gives a * so long as the books balance. hence lawell gets a big fat slap on the back not to mention a bonus check.
hopefully lennon will do better next year but from what i've seen this season gross negligence against lesser opponents cost us the championship and he just doesnt have what it takes. basic errors like his would be better suited to an amatuer team or a third division club and certainly not celtic. my * is this how far our standards have fallen?
if lawell had any balls he would let lennon go and bring in a manager such as lambert or butcher. i know the bigots would shudder at the latters name but Celtic are bigger than that.
