Winning it is huge, not due cos it would feel great or that, but if we lose it then we don't win a trophy, we have meltdown on these boards and the fans turn on Lennon and the team.

Basically not losing is more important than winning it in a sense.

i think it's all down to feeling great and winning a cup, if we don't win it then it's down to lennon and the team is it not mate?

personally winning the cup a week after losing the title would mean little to me, but losing both is unbearable. Basically what im saying is avoiding defeat and no trophies is a bigger incentive to me than actually winning the cup. All cups feel quite hollow if you don't win the league, the League Cup Final in Strachan's last year isn't as good a memory due to the aftermath in the league.

well going through the 9 in a row time with the huns and it took us 5 years to win a cup i can tell you right now it made me feel the top of the world

winning the cup will mean everything to me if we have lost the league if you where a fan back in the dark days of the 90's then i don;t know how you don't feel the same

spoiled by success, like most fans these days. Not to such an extent where i want a manager sacked after every defeat but most Celtic fans are spoiled and live in fear of the 90s repeating themself. All about circumstance too, any trophy would feel immense after such a barren spell, but given how this season has went the Scottish Cup would feel like a consolation if the title is lost.

It's no wonder fans of other Scottish clubs get * off with us when this sort of attitude is on display. Spoiled.

Obviously not, and obviously I want us to win it but I still reckon It will feel hollow if we win it just like it did in MON's last season.

It's massive that we win this though. Although it won't be much it is silverware and it is necessary. Lose that and I fear that lenny could get sacked.

Its must win for me, this team has to learn what its like to win and give them an appetite for next season.

    Good point.

Winning, like losing, is a habit. Our team need to learn what it's like to win trophies. Even if the worst happens and we lose the league this season it is still important for us to win the Scottish Cup. If our players get a taste of what it's like to win a trophy I think it would stand them in good stead for next season.

I think the league is over but there's still a little part of me thinking that there's still a chance, I still have a little hope because it's not impossible. If we've lost the league come the Scottish Cup final, then a win will not lift my mood in the slightest.

That's probably a bad attitude towards the cup but that's how I'll feel.

I'm sure a lot feel the same way, the league was and is the no 1 priority, there's almost a feeling that the SC would be a poor consolation.
