why dose he deserve another chance, do you think Rangers are going to let the grass grow under there feet, and allow Lennon time to improve or what, it could be the case next year we finish 3rd or fourth realistically. would like to see yer faces then. 3 years out the league is enough for me. and pay peanuts for players only gets you monkeys.

I would give him another crack because I would like to see the same team but with a new goalie, 2 new CHs and a new striker. Skimping on those positions is the only reason we are not well ahead now. The CHs though was the big one. The CH situation in the past year and a half has been ridiculous.

Did you not read or understand my post mate,I admitted that Lenny had made mistakes. So you are blaming the manager for the team drawing 3 home games at CP.Enlighten me as as to how the manager can be blamed for inept performances by prima donna players. Was he to blame for the * performance at Motherwell by 11 players? Was he to blame for the * performance by 11 players at Hampden in the CIS final ? Was he to blame for them drawing at Hamilton after * the huns ? Was he to blame for Samaras hitting that penalty like a big poof ? The bottom line is we were 4 games away from winning the league, disregarding the above * ups.The team , to a man, bottled it big time just as they have done throughout the season. How you, and others can blame the manager is beyond belief.Of course you are entitled to your opinion but I think you have to look at the consistency of some players and the apparent "We just have to turn up to win " attitude. The manager has brought back the passion to CP which has been missing since MON.Unfortunately the team hasnt shown the same when it mattered and they are responsible big time. They have let down their manager and the fans who have gave them incredible backing all season. So,yes it was all about one game last night,a game we should have won comfortably.I hope those players are disgusted with themselves,as I for one,am disgusted with them.

Nah, when an entire team suddenly cant play, they have probably been set up wrong for the opposition. I think the manager needs to share the blame with the players.

I remember watching Celtic getting their arses handed to them last year in Europe, before we had even kicked a ball in the SPL I was dreading the year ahead because I was certain that we were destined for a year of mediocrity. I couldn't have been more wrong.

I haven't enjoyed watching Celtic playing this much since Henrik was in the hoops. Yes it's sore wathcing our league title slip out of our grasp, but when I think about the speed at which our squad was totally rebuilt, how quickly the team became a unit and how much more alive parkhead is now, not to mention how much excitment this years title race has brought then it makes the potential title blow a little easier to swallow.

A rookie manager came into a shambolic squad, rebuilt it from scratch on a shoestring and made 2 cup finals and contended for the league. I'd say Lennys done pretty well.

When Lenny was put in place as manager he was asked what he wanted to achieve as his first year as the manager, he said he wanted to bring back the thunder to Parkhead and I think we'll all agree that he's done just that.

he got his tactics wrong he was to blame, it falls on his head aswell, it's like anything in life if you are managing somthing and things are not going right you ned to change it

yes it's his fault aswell not getting good enough CB's in so chill sit back down and have a wee think about what he has done rookie mistakes wise

you talk about the motherwell game he has been playing mulgrew at CB thinking he is good enough... thats down to the gaffer my friend and again last night now thats 6 points and the rangers game if he never played for the draw well there you go the league would still be in our hands

yes the team where pish last night but it's not just the teams fault that we are in 2nd place mate please wake the * up and take your neil lennon can't do no wrong specs off, he has made some rookie mistakes that has cost us this season, let's hope he learns from it

Can safely say this season has been one of the proudest I have experienced as a Celtic supporter.
Yes we've had the success in past but this year after all the * that we've had thrown at us from the SFA, the bomb threats and all the rest its been amazing how the support have stuck together and really got behind the team.
Yes we might not end up winning the league, yes the huns may end up with 3IAR but at the end of the day we'll we be back better and stronger next season.
The leagues not over yet, theres 3 games to go lets keep the faith and get behind the bhoys, as the old song goes 'We are Celtic supporters faithful through and through'.

No our the Celtics biggest drawbacks are the BOARD, I guess you dont know my views too well!

Yes sports fans its a two team third rate league in Scotland, and all indications are its going to get worse instead of better!
I have said here and elsewhere on the internet about THOSE running Celtic and the present coaching staff now, that we are not going forward or was mentioned a year or two ago, that step up Lawwell referred too, and I believe Neil Lennon is a fan of a player that to me is an imposter Scott (yellow card) Brown so if that is not a tell tale what the * is?
Tic fans will say to me do you know more than Lenny, well in regards to Brown, I most certainly do!

We need to stick with Lennon, if we change every year we will not win trophies. We have a good team, a CB or two and maybe a target man and we should run away with the league next year.

why do we need to stick with Lennon, we do not have a good team,
Rangers are selling players and we still cant frigging win the league.
now with injury's rangers have a full squad. :31:

We do have a good team with some quality players but their bottle goes. It crashed against the Huns cup-final and it went against ICT. Lennon should stay but the board have to give him some decent money to use. I can't face losing yet another league to The *.

I would still contend that although Lenny seems to be a good natural manager, he is on a learning curve and you have to ask yourself if Celtic should have been his first proper management gig. In an ideal world we would have got Lenny maybe 4 years later after he had done a Lambo type apprenticeship. Dont get me wrong, Lenny has done superb for a rookie manager but I think his learning curve has shown at several crucial points in his season and a bit with us. In general, I think he has been very good at improving the player quality but I think he has been hit and miss tactically.

The bottom line is (and I think the stats are misleading) that the in purely defensive terms, our defense is not as good as Rangers and I think SPL title wins tend to be based on how good a team is at stopping the opposition.
