They will have received one mighty ear bashing last night once they got into that dressing room. According to The Record, he singled out the defenders and rightly so. I have never, ever bashed Izzy before, but last night was something else. He was * poor, along with the rest of them. His marking for their third goal was atrocious.

Hooper wis invincible and Maloney shouldnae guv been on da field..

We could still win a double or end up with nothing, if we don't win the Scottish cup then serious questions need to be asked.

I don't think he will be sacked what with all the * he's had to go through this season, but he may well walk away himself if he feels he's not going to get a decent budget in the summer, then again who would want the job after this season anyway?

    * sake, I'd actually forgotten all about the Cup Final. I'm just so preoccupied with the league right now, not to mention last night's result. To be honest though, winning the Cup would be nothing more than consolation if we handed The Huns the title this season.

Would that be the cup that no one seems to want to go to until the final then you can't get a ticket for love nor money!!!

If we take it to the last day (May 15th) and lose it there, by the time the Cup Final comes around, it will have had time to sink in and I'll probably feel more excited at the prospect of Lennon at least lifting one trophy in his first full season as manager.

Until then though, it's simply an afterthought in the back of my mind. The league will be the main focus until it is mathematically impossible to win it.

Lennon's completely transformed the team on a shoestring budget whilst playing the best football we've seen in years and all of this whilst having the media, the SFA and terrorists against him.

I think the least he deserves is our backing, anybody who doesn't want to give him that is needing their head checked.

    One Neil Lennon :shamrock:

i think he should have one more year but he had a bigger and better budget than walter also he has a bigger team aswell

he has made rookie mistakes that cost us this season lets hope he can learn very fast and i have said a few times now the board need to back him in the summer

I cant believe some of the comments slating Lenny on this forum.Yes,everyones entitled to a opinion and peoples views are different but blaming our manager for that defeat,IMO is simply not on.The blame lies firmly with the shower of shitebags who were on that park, who couldnt raise their game against the mighty ICT.Iwas at the game and the anger that I felt last night is still with me in a big way.Neil made one change from last week, and if the truth be told there was plenty of warning signs when we played Dundee
Utd.Although we scored four and should have had more,Utd could easily have scored 3 or 4 goals.Lenny tried to get Kelvin Wilson in January but that little scum * Davies prevented him from joining us.No fault of Lennys ! Our manager has been through * this season because he has done something that no Celtic manager has done before. He has stood up to the bigots and highlighted the sectarianism that has been going on in this country for many, many years. We all know how passionate and commited he is to the Celtic cause and although that does not mean he will be a great manager,I firmly believe he will become one if he stays. This is his first year in management and lesser mortals would have walked away after the crap hes been through. The Celtic support has backed him all the way and we must continue to back him.Yes,last nights gutless performance has probably cost us the league and we are all angry and want to blame somebody. We had far superior players on that pitch last night who never turned up.As a unit they were atrocious and they must shoulder the blame. Of course Lenny has made some mistakes but some people on this forum need to get a grip and think of the bigger picture.Neil will learn from this and hopefully becomea better manager. We need some stability after the Mowbray fiasco.Do we really want to start again next seasonwith another manager, and having to build another team from scratch ? So lets all keep the head and get behind Neil Lennon and show him we are Celtic supporters FAITHFUL THROUGH AND THROUGH !* BLESS YOU LENNY

I think Lennon should also stay, the only other manager i'd consider would be MON who is still out of a job. The only problem being is MON spends a lot of money ^^.

problem is was not just last night was it mate, lennon has * it up before that with changing a 9-0 winning team playing for a draw the last game with the huns not getting a CB in the window

if we never * up with the draws the league would have been won, it's not all about last night mate, lennon and his players have let us down at times this season....

Yes, we were shocking last night but no doubt the MIBs played their part. From throw ins being awarded the wrong way to penalties not given.
Not to mention, how many times should tokely have been booked before he actually was?
IMHO he should have walked, as serveral of his challenges were yellows.
Also the penalty shouts were both valid - Maloney being decked bvy their keeper and Paddy being clotheslined by one of their defenders - might even have been tokely who, as per the above, should have been off by that point.

Also worth pointing out that some of the players last night may have been starting to believe some of the hype and that's no good.

Reality check it was but 4 games to go is not the time for that!

Having said, in Lenny we trust. Compared with last season and before, he has restored some pride and mostly has us playing some fantastic football.

More time for the gaffer and more transfer money please!!!

    Only One Neil Lennon

ps, just remember - it aint over yet...

    Hail Hail

There is no question that Lennon should stay, the turnaround from what Mowbray left behind is nothing short of amazing and I see no reason why he cant improve the current squad given his track record in the transfer market.

His experience is lacking but that will improve the more he's in the job. I do feel that Lennon has learned the hard way in terms of players & tactics away from home. By contrast, Smith has a squad geared to grinding out result against better quality opposition, poor playing surfaces, home and/or away and more than willing to scrap for a win.

It might not be pretty but Lennon needs to learn when you have to play like that and when you can play the passing game and having the squad to do both. At the moment he only has the players to do the passing game and boys pretending to be men when we need to get direct and physical with the opposition.

A want lenny to stay but the manager made mistakes last night as well, the team didnt look up forf it, a thought they thought they would just turn up and walk away with 3 points, a mean the centre halfs looked like they havnt played together before, it was 3-2 but it could have been more,

My issues with lenny is ZONAL MARKING>>>> GET RID NOW

Substituitions selection and has been out thought tactically imo

All in all imo he deserves another crack of the whip for next year, regardless of the out come but a think the hunns will win there last 3 games a hope not but them lucky * will scrape 3 one nils, you just know it...... usual they have been doing it for 3 year!!!

Now to last night, every * player on that park should be ashamed of there selves, maloney and commons were utter garbage, sloppy in posession and no final ball, commons got the first goal but he done zilch after that, the ball was bouncing off maloney he was miles of the pace as were the full backs

The central midfeld were terrible, brown was pure pants and deserted kayal for long spells of the game and made kayal have a bad game imo

Stokes was utter * and should learn to pass a ballk when he,s up front then we wiill get some were, slow as * and sloppy

Hooper was doing okay imo but far from his best

the subs made no impact what so ever and its quite clear lenny might need to take the oneil approch and bring in giants, to defend

So you're suggesting Neil Lennon is entirely to blame for us losing the league ?
