I am absolutely sickened by what I watched tonight, a Celtic team with no fight, no desire to win and no bottle whatsoever, we were awful and I am under no illusions that the Huns have now as good as won the league. I am not a fair weather fan, but being realistic I can't see them dropping points when they need to win for the league.

However, there have been some calls for Lennon to go tonight, and this is not the sort of thing I want to be reading. I am hurting as much as the next, but we are building something with this team, even if we win nothing this season we must keep Lenny and build for the future. A few bad games and a league lost by one or two points does not change the fact that we have a very promising young team, and sacking the manager is going to do no good whatsoever.

The phrase Keep The Faith is banded about every time we lose a game by those who will believe until it is mathematically over, I am more realistic than that although I pray I am wrong, but as far as the manager goes, we absolutely must keep the faith.

    well said.

we have to give lenny a chance, theres no way in the space of a year he was going to turn around the shambles left by mowbary.after the summer lenny will have the FULL team he want's and then we'll have every right to * if he * up.

still think the huns will drop points, hearts and dundee utd have both taken pts off them this season.
    keep the faith.

Definetly 3 in a row for Rangers after tonight but I agree that Neil should stay on but think it is absolutely ridiculous that Celtic could not beat or even compete with ICT tonight. They have had other similiar performances throughout this season though but I thought that they had got this out of their systems and were beginning to play like champions. So disappointing!

OK if we lose the league we lose the league.
Dont forget this was an almost new team in its 1st season, and although Rangers moaned about not having players etc they did have a consistency with same players most weeks which actually works in their favour in my opinion.
Some of our playing this season was of the highest order and I am confident of winning next season if we can keep these players together.
What I agree with others however is that defence must be tightened up.
Statistically we look good but in most games as like tonight we are easily taken apart,so with our new defensive signings and a good pre season hopefully we can become a stronger team.
Still think a lot of deadwood has to go though which should allow us to further strengthen key areas - we can honestly only get better .
It is said that the price of pleasure is pain - so lets accept this pain in the hope that the future is one of great pleasure. KEEP THE FAITH !

Well said. As gutted as anyone tonight but 'fans' calling for Lennon to go is a disgrace.

Maybe I'm just an old bassa & been here before, but most of those calling for his head etc., will have calmed down a bit in a few weeks & be looking forward to next season.

I've "had it" with Celtic more times than I care to remember.

Still, it doesn't help the pain tonight. The pain is very real & will take time to soften. But it will.

Im raging at the entire team including Lennon. But Lennon must stay for another few seasons at least. The pressure he has been under has been ridiculous and when you consider that he definitely deserves another chance.

I'm sitting here guttered at that total shambles tonight, that is definately our worst performance this season, those players should hang their head in shame, it's not as if they haven't got the skills, ffs Izzy was in paper today saying, how this team, if held together, could rattle a few cages in europe, and you know what ? I didn't disagree with him. But * me, that was pathetic tonight, all season the fans have magnificent, in their support fot the club, and I am proud to be one of those fortunate fans, who supports their team, through good and bad. This team needs to realise, the hurt this shocking display inflicted on our fans, as a team you owed it to Lenny to win this league for him, he stood in defiance, for the club he loves, as a team you owed it to that hoop'd. green and white jersey. As for Lenny's position, I'm totally with him, always have been, and always will be. :50:

Neil Lennon could be a football manager for the next 20 years, this is only his first season as a manager. I'd say overall he's done a very good job. Tonight's result was a savage blow but we have to look at the bigger picture and the bigger picture for me is that Neily is showing a lot of promise as a young manager.

I'll be devastated if we win nothing this season but, even if that is what comes to pass, I want Neily to stay on and be our manager again next season. I have to say this though, if we win nothing this season then we MUST win something next season.
