    I'm sure i heard somewhere that as long as Shalke don't win the Champs League, we would go straight into 3rd round of qualifying?

    But back to your question, I think we would do a lot better than last year! :84:

    Would like to finish 3rd in the champions league and get a run in the europa league.

    I think if we get a solid keeper, a new center back and one more decent striker i think we could have a run to the semis and maybe final in the europa league.

    We 'maybe' would have finished 3rd in our group & entered Europa League.

    PS: 4 good players GK, CB, Striker & maybe a Midfielder & we could do some damage in next seasons CL !!!!:50:

    i think our centre backs would get tore apart to be honest maj is good but is slow and i think that mulgrew makes some very basic errors which will cost you in the CL however i wouldnt sell them they are fine in our league just feel we could do with a class centre back and an better goalie

    We don't need a midfielder. IMO a goalie and a CB we'll be fine, if we can get a cheap striker then that would be good aswell.

    and since then UEFA have changed the rules of qualifying for the CL and Europa League making the Europa League a lot more competitive.

    i like your optimism that you think we're going to get past the quarters however deluded it may be.

    Once we've actually won the SPL and qualify for the group stages, i wouldn't mind finishing 3rd in the CL group and having a nice run in the Europa League.

    This is the best we can realistically hope for until such times we have added to the current squad of great players we have right now and gotten rid of the crap like Loovens, McGinn and dare I say it, Samaras.

    we need a keeper for next season if we don't buy foster then get westwood in on a free

    a really good CB even though we are getting wilson in we could do with getting a 3m-4m rated CB in who is around 25-28 who plays in a better standered than the SPL and championship ie ligue 1 or bundesliga or a lower league spanish side

    lennon may add to the midfield

    and another forward is a must a target man who can score goals

    then i think we will be fine and do well

    without 2 good new CHs and a quality goalie we have no chance in the CL. With those and preferably a good striker too we could maybe dare to dream of a return to the last 16 glory days of Strachan's reign.
