language barrier and adjusting to life in scotland could be the reason, but then again who do you drop for him?? Brown in the form of his life, Kayal has been fantastic, Ledly has been instrumental all season and commons has been a revelation. Ki puts in a shift and then you have players like mc court who are just itching to get game time and when they do, they do something special. it always looked like converting him in to a right back, but then wilson has been outstanding this season, while i felt cha has been good when given game time as well. As for left back Izzy has been one of the buys of the season. Maybe its just about waiting for his chance and grabbing it, like mulgrew/wilson have this season, Really looking foward to european football next season if we have guys like jaurez/freddie/mc court/commons/ki/maloney etc. who cant even get a look in

There has to be something going on with him we don't know about, be it a bad attitude or not adjusting to Scotland, because he looked quite good in pre-season and europe so I don't buy him suddenly being not good enough to get near the team anymore.

Especially during the first half of the season when Lenny didn't really have his first 11 set in stone and was chopping and changing quite a bit, we've had plenty of injuries too, you'd think he would have had a few more chances by now, or at the very least making a few more appearances off the bench.

I think he has fallen into the same category as Derek Riordan, bags of talent with an attitude problem towards the manager.

Look on the brightside it will be like getting a new player next season if it is just a case of a year settling in period

Hopefully he can turn it around and make an impact next season but if he has slipped so far down the pecking order in Lenny's mind I wouldn't be shocked if he was sold in the summer as we already have the young lad Richie Towell who basically plays the same positions as him.

As everyone has said started on a positive note and now with so much competition for places and what we hear to be a riordanesque attitude he just isnt getting a game.
Say what you want about him though because the guy knows how to sell bread!

He has obviously just adjusting to life in scotland and was homesick, marc crosas said as much in an invterview, Remmeber what petrov was like his first year and a half here or Ki, give juarez a chance he has loads of talent and a midfield of Juarez Kayal and Ki would be amazing

Honestly i think that he has refused to play right back as his permanent position (note permanent before people say he has been played at right back) and also i think he was blaming him and hooiveld and loovens for the game in utrecht although the whole team where absolute *. that also along wiht his attitude which must not be right and neil has made the correct choice as we have kayal and the welsh wizard in the middle of the park dominating.:50:

It seems to me as though Lennon feels he simply has better options in the midfield area and that's why Juarez is so low down in the pecking order. Maybe now that Ledley is out for the remainder of the season, Juarez will step up and prove himself to everyone.

I hope it's just that he's having a few problems settling down not anything more serious because he looked a real good player at the start of the season but after the games against Utrecht and braga for example he just hasn't delivered. Hopefully we will see some more of him when the time is right.

Yep heard the same things late for training, out on the town, boozebag, bad attitude etc... Think his head went down after the Mexico players incident & ban. Although again these are all rumours, surely if he was out all the time there would be pics etc.

Hopefully he doesnt get sold in the summer and we have a new player on our hands after a holiday and good pre season under his belt. Surely lennon would have sold him in Jan to Brescia if he wasn't in his plans, remember an article in daily record back around that time saying lennon convinced him not to go.

His only option of playing will be at right back, Celtics midfield a playing really good and Lenonn does not want to mess with it.

    As is our rb.

In the words of a crazy stoned league of Ireland fan "We're just savin all ur best players for next season, yenow."

I just hope he doesnt become Crosas mark II. He obviously has skills as shown with Mexico and during pre-season. Although the problem atm is that there is nowhere to play him, he still wasnt getting games when our team wasnt as solid as it is now which is worrying. Someone as versatile as him should have made at least 20+ games this season, yet im forgeting what he looks like.

    Bottom line................... He's PISH !!!!!!!!!!!
And it's time we get rid of him !!!!!!!!!!!

Lenny, Mjallby & Thommo are no mugs. They see him every day in training & have realised his potential, which is, 'Not up to Celtic standards', i.e. PISH, hence he's nowhere near the starting eleven.

    So, Cheerio Jaurez !!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS: Hopefully we can 'sell' him on, even a tenner would be fine !!!!

    Hail Hail:shamrock:

    What a load of *.

You don't have to be sharpest tool in the box to see after the trouble at a party in Mexico he's hardly featured, so obviously something's gone on there.

How Ki gets a game ahead of him I will never know.

We can all see he is a talented player. I just hope that the reason for lack of games is that he is struggling to settle in, like Ki at first, and not due to a bad attitude.

With Ledley out for the rest of the season we might see more of him in the next few days but from the bench. He is still behind Ki for that second CM spot and I'm not sure how well he would do out wide.
