i think your language is ridiculous. tabloid stuff imo. i would not expect him to be hanging his head in shame nor would i call his "antics" that of a two year old. He's a striker scoring loads of goals, playing well and been on of our stand outs this year. it doesnt really bother me that he wants to take the penalties. he was told no, and let ki take it.

    That's why I found it a bit of a strange comparison :97:

    What?

I'm comparing their abilities at set pieces....seeing as both are 'set piece specialists'.

Mulgrew creates and scores many times more from dead ball situations.

Ah right, didn't catch that. I agree here, Charlie Mulgrew is far better at set pieces.

However I think Ki is good at set pieces, certainly second best in the team. It's just unfortunate that our team are awful at attacking corners because both of them are a good option.

His set piece delivery is over rated at best and mediocre at worst.

As Hammer said, Chuck's delivery is far more dangerous.

He doesn't have enough whip on his set-plays like Mulgrew does or even Matthews from what I've seen.

Matthews? please don't compare matthews deliveries with mulgrew or even Ki, matthews deliveries are not the best.

Does anyone have a resource for comparing successful FK/corner rates?

Ki had a good game last night put in a great shift - he can not be 100% being ill will have taking a lot out him with the travelling etc that never helped .

Okay so he missed a pen ffs all players miss a pen even the best in the world .

He made 3 or 4 clear cut chances last night too which Mainly Stokes * up - he puts them away and Ki is a hero and had a great game - he misses them and Ki had a bad game can never please people on here.

The lad is a class act and we are lucky to have him enjoy it while it last he will move on to much bigger things .

I hope he leaves for little to nothing/free.

Why, because he took the most amount of abuse I have seen in a single match day thread tonight outside of Samaras, for what? He played as * as everyone else. Maybe a bit better than the likes of Wanyama, Matthews, Maj and even precious Kayal.

The favoritism on this forum and with fans is shocking, to the point where its vindictive. His corners were ok to good, his passing was above average and his general tracking back was ok, yet I have seen about 15/20 comments on tonights match forum calling him *, punt him etc etc.

But one man calls stokes pish and is warned? Complete bullshit and you lot don't deserve a good thing. Honestly.

He was sluggish tonight, didnt look sharp at all, 2nd to every ball and slow overall at turning and moving.

Stokes was being called a *, no one was even bothering to evaluate his performance.

I like Ki, but tonight he was a little off the pace and looked leggy throughout. His delivery could've been better, as well.

I seen your comments before the match kicked off.

Hooper was Annonymous, Kayal was pish and leaked a goal, Wanayma was pulled off and Forrest kept running into no where. So why is Ki singled out?

Vindictive much? How did I know you would be the first person to comment again.

I don't think Ki was poor at all. I thought he was average. People seem to think that anything below an excellent performance is poor, very strange. Stokes was anonymous, maybe due to a lack of service, but he wasn't the only one.

I think we deserved something from tonight's game.
