    after seeing mcgregor keep us out today i can not help but feel we need a top class goalie. forster has done well but he is still to young. we need a keeper who can turn dropped points into gained points. a high quality keeper is also essental for european progression. can we find another boruc?

    to be honest ..Mcgregor did what he is paid to do got a clean sheet ...Forster did exactly that too and got a clean sheet ...Just showed how much we were on top that their keeper gets MOTM ...i dont buy into all this he is too young ect ..he will mature with age however i cant fault the lad over the season so far

    Forster has nineteen shut outs this year.How can you complain about that ?
    I bet you McGregor dozen't have nineteen shut outs to his name this year.

    boruc in his prime was worth about 6-9 points a season. that is invaluable.

    this is not a dig at forster. it is more about how many points a class keeper gets you. 19 clean sheets is also a tribute to our defence

    Forster's had more clean sheets in the league this season than any keeper for the last 8 years. More than McGregor, Boruc, Gordon and Klos. He has 19 clean sheets with 5 games to go; the SPL record is 21. Not bad for a * keeper, eh?

    I think Forster has been very good but McGregor is of a higher standard whether or not he's an * (which I'm inclined to be ambivalent about as he seems to get on with players on our team: O'Dea/Mcgeady going to his birthday party a few years back and videos of him shaking hands with boruc before leaving the tunnel)

    never said he was * but he is no boruc. FF is a good keeper, not a great keeper, not yet atleast

    after him and stokesy had a wee fallout or two this season it was nice to see them laughing together after the game and shaking sammi's hand with a cheesy. hes not a bad guy he's rarely in arguments with our team and thats suprising because of the abuse he gets from our fans, i dont like the abuse he gets either.

    We have the best defensive record in the SPL, by a mile.

    We average losing 0.5 goals per game, Rangers are next best with 0.8.

    Given that Rangers have actually scored 2 more goals than us (with 1 more game played) and there is every chance the SPL may well go to goal difference, it's our defensive record that could win us this title.

    Why do we buy this nonsense that we don't have a good defence, the fact is we do.
