just to put things aside .. its always good to have confidence

but im a celtic fan tooo ... but just nowhere near as much as milan :50:

but our team is poor .... in strike thats what worries me our defence seems alright with bonera , maldini , kaladze , and oddo sticking around and janku

mid is good with kaka , gourcuff , seedorf , pirlo and gattuso

but up forward we only have oli , gila and inzaghi ... and they all * up at times

I dreamt Celtic won 2-0 at Home,... and Gattuso got sent off for violent conduct...and we drew 1-1 at the San Siro..:50:

I honestly feel we can progress. But I don't think we are going to blow them off the parfk so to speak. If we get through it will most likely be becaused we have edged through. We must play it right, play canny if you know what I mean.

2 years ago near the end of mon at celtic when we faced ac millan both legs we had an ageing team slightly less than ac millan but we were unlucky to be held to a draw at home and lost 3-1 away becuase our old out of it players gave up and conceded 2 goals in the last 10 mins not what they used to be like but now wgs has came in brought tones of youth in and our average squad age is alot less.

Wilson- Young very good winger should stop and attacks from the wing by ac millan and will get the ball back up the park.

Mcmanus-If he sees danger infront of goal he pounces on it at both ends he will kick the ball out for a throw or corner in nearly anycase hardly makes a mistake.

Odea- same as mcmanus I don't know what the back lineup is going to be but odea or mcmanus are going to be in it.

Nakamura-Will go anywhere on the park from back tracking to the left and right wings he will take a ball on the wing and can easly make a deadly counter attack as seen today. He also scored really good freekicks over the wall or round it the keeper can't see the ball coming and only experienced keepers can deal with it naka will be our best asset against millan.

Jvoh-Deadly finishing if he gets on the end of a good pass he will make sure in a big game that he will hit it low and as far away from the keeper. If he gets the ball at his feet with defenders behind him facing away from goal he can quickly turn round and smash the ball into the net he could provide a starting goal.

Beattie-A younger not as fast verson of kenny miller but he has deadly finishing and is getting back on form after being out for such a long time he will be looking for a goal if he plays he says he is hyped up for it and if you get him like that he will put in a preformance, he can head a ball run onto a ball run with a ball and most of all hit a ball into the back of the net in lots of ways he is our all round striker.

Artur boruc- Celtic best keeper in decades he can save loads of penaltys and is really good at shot stopping by spreading himself out but he can't command his box during a cross in as he dropps the ball or misses it but it's not a big problem now the coaches have sorted him out but what ac millan will be looking for is 1 on 1s with boruc as this is the way he concedes most of his goals as he can't get down to the ground quick but he can save anything going for a corner.

Naylor- An older more experienced wilson but he prefers to run with the ball than pass it on and he stays behind naka as an asset and can provide a world class cross which could go to beattie jvoh odea mcmanus who can all score great headers or thump it into the net this is the way we score most of our goals in the cl from crosses or long passes just watch man u 3 celtic 2 highlights at jvoh goal thats what we will be looking for against millan.

peeps might say but what about mcgeady well I don't rate him yet he can't make use of a ball and is not good enough for the cl as seen earlyer he gets wobbly legs and gives away far to many balls as long as I know I would rather have telfer as a striker than mcgeady play against ac millan

Lennon- The experienced captain who is not afraid to get stuck in. Commands the whole field, and is the best holding player in Scotland. He can put in a good clean tackle and still get the ball, and start a counter attack from a set peice. His fiery temper will strike fear into the opposition. He wears his heart on his sleeve and you see his pride when he plays in the Hoops.

Graveson- A former Galactico. He knows what it's like to play in Europe, and Real Madrid signed him for a reason. Another one with a fiery temper and can really get stuck in. Has scored some crucial goals for Celtic this season, and good quality ones at that. Maybe the best midfielder Everton has had this decade. He'll want to prove to The Premiership, La Liga, Milan, the SPL and the whole of Europe, just what he's capable of.

    haha:50:

tbh martin id be far more cautious and nervous about say lyon or a spanish side..

history tells us quick passing and pace is our arch enemy in europe..

italians sides play a slow negative style which imo plays into our hands...if we set a fast tempo at parkhead they will crumble as they always do..

its up 2 us 2 set the tempo and get at them early and were laughing..

milan never hammer teams like spanish teams or lyon do..they WILL BE CAGEY AS USUAL and its up to us 2 make the game frantic from the first minute..

jvoh and beattie will trouble them no end if we play a pressure game

after that its up 2 us take our chances:50:

We won't be outclassed. Theres no chance of that. I just think Celtic are playing better than us as a team and they'll outfight us, well everybody except Gattuso + Pippo.
Although a 2-1 win over Aberdeen is less convincing than a 4-3 10 man win over Siena.:celt_2:

The Milanese teams are an exception to this sterotype of slow boring football in Italy. We'll play it quick, we always do in the CL. If you'd of had Inter, you may as well just forfeit now.

Celtic this season usually plays down to the competition in the SPL as its hard to get motivated when your 19 points ahead.

Milan scored 113 last season..Please go check on facts..Italian sides never win in britain?..We won our last CL at old trafford. We beat Man U 2 seasons ago at old trafford..Milan won 4 games in a row 3-0 lost to inter 3-4 beat siena 4-3..We havent been ourselfs this season that's why theres countless 0-0 draws. The great Milan? a team with Van Basten Rijkaard and Gullit were boring?Right.

I know however when you look at what he did for the team, he hardly won us it a header from basic strikers movement and a 3 yard tap in. Hardly a match winning performance by him.
