I suppose you do have a point, perhaps 'unprofessional' wasn't the right word. Maybe 'petulant' and 'preening' are more suited :86:

nah i cant see him being better than messi, messi is a better passer and hes alot stronger and doesnt dive much, he tries to keep his runs going instead of going down like neymar, he will never be much better at heading than messi cause his height and physique, messi's dribbling is alot more effective if less flashy also, your wont see a much better finisher in football than messi and tbh i cant see neymar bulking up much, he'll have a robinho like physique, in the end messi IMO, will be the much more complete player when they both hit prime, just my opinion tho

you do have a love for Brazilian players and you hate Barcelona, so..............you said that folks love for Messi is clouding their judgement or whatever, but i think its a 2 way street, cause not so long ago, you were saying Kaka was better than Messi, Ronaldo was better than Messi, which i think Messi has proved wrong on both cases and i think you pray that one of your favourite brazilians will take Messi's crown as the best, i bet if messi was a brazilian playing for real madrid, he'd be your favourite player and no-one would come close to him, but cause hes an argentine playing for barca, you always want someone to better him, just the way i see it, might be wrong.

think messi will go down as one of the best if not the best ever player.his scoring record is phenomenal.....

how come defenders never get mentioned as the best player ever but?just struck me the other day.how close would you rate someone like paolo maldini to someone like pele, cruyff?

Messi has had the same modesty since day 1 so i think Neymar will be Cristiano Ronaldo 2.0 with the attitude.

I don't think Neymar's attitude is anywhere near as bad as Ronaldos. Is his profesionalism as good though?

For the record I don't think he has the ability to get mentioned in the same breath as Ronaldo and Messi.

I bet you've barely seen Neymar play. It's ridiculous that people are saying that he could never be as good as Messi and that his attitude is bad when they've hardly watched him and don't know him.

"He tries to keep his runs going instead of going down like Neymar." It's funny how Neymar has scored so many wonder-goals from going past 3 or 4 men then. He doesn't even really dive, he just over-acts when he is fouled.

Neymar is showing all the potential to suggest he could one day be the best player in the world. For some Barca fanboys that might be hard to take.

Ronaldo is only professional as far as he helps himself. He became a better player by bulking up, becoming faster and a better finisher etc but he still plays for himself before he helps the team.

Messi on the other hand improved his game and became more of a team player, his passing improved and as he got more experience he became more of a cog in the Barca passing machine. He doesn't dive, his thought is always on keeping his balance and beating the player, and he doesn't have to resort to diving when he doesn't know what to do with the ball like Ronaldo or Neymar.

The signs from Neymar what with his stupid moaning about non existent racism, the fact that he wears a mask of himself (shows his ego is far too big already), the constant diving, the thinking he's too big for the team already attitude, are that he will join the line behind Robinho and Adriano as someone who may have the Nike boot deal and the high rating on Fifa and may well have some gullible 13 year olds with their name on their replica strips, but will never contend to be the best of the rest behind Messi, never mind being close to him.

No one who complains about being booed as they are about to take a penalty has the attitude to be the best player in the world.

infact your wrong, i have seen him play, a few times, ive watched a few santos games to just to see how good him and paulo henrique are, and your other comment suggest you have hardly seen him play, its well known that Neymar is a diver, they say thats a thing he really needs to stamp out his game

and i think its more to the point that folk who dont like barca(you obviously) hate the fact that they have the best player and need to cling onto any top youngster hoping that they one day become better than messi, dont hold yer breath

    1. a fan gave him the mask to wear.
    2. he doesnt dive as much as people are saying
    3. he has a right because he is to big for santos just like Ganso, they'll most likely move this summer.
    4. he had a bananna thrown at him (all- be it by a german tourist) and he was taunted and jeered the whole game soooo

From what I've seen Neymar will be some player.

But whether people like it or not he has a long, long way to go before being compared to Ronaldo - let alone Messi.
