Messi is a cool headed modest guy, shame the same can't be said for other very good naturally talented footballers such as neymar, balotelli etc, ronald is a cocky * aswell but he still sustains his performances.

Kaka is a modest guy who hasn't sustained his performances. Just like Ronaldinho is a cocky lovable guy who couldn't sustain his performances.

Messi has outlasted both of there purple patches I would say.

Kaka was incredible for Milan for 2 seasons tops and was still not the best player in the world. He now can't even get a game.

What's he done? He's no worse than Ronaldo when it comes to cockiness, and he's become the most expensive player ever.

Aye, and if Ronaldo has a proper professional attitude, he'd be a better player for it.

neymar wont be in the same class as messi in my opinion, yes he has great potential, but despite his obvious ability, i dont think he has the passing, the strength, work rate or goals to compete with messi, yes he scored in brazil, but messi consistantly outstrips anyone at the highest level, south american football is far from it, i think neymar will be class, but i think we will find out that he isnt messi class when he comes to europe

Look around there are a few stories in Brazil about him getting to big for his boots, getting too arrogant because he is the big man over there just now.

The new Brazillian hope; if people keep in his ear just constantly telling him how good he is and he hasn't got any constructive coaching then he has no chance.

He is bigger than Santos, which is not a good situation for a young man to be in.

Kingzander nowadays Brazillian Football is up there with most leagues in Europe, they do fall shy of the likes of La Liga and the Premiership but by far outstrips the SPL.

the amount ronaldo has improved in terms of his physical stature since he joined man utd is great, hes went from a skinny runt to a strong guy, i think he's more professional than he's given credit for

but i cant see neymar ever bulking up like that

Oh, for sure he takes a very professional attitude to himself. The sadly doesn't apply to his team mates.

I think of all the things that Ronaldo can be blamed for being unproffesional isn't one. When was the last time you heard of him dipping his teamates missus? Swearing at cameras? * hookers?

Despite being one of the most famous people in the world he keeps himself right and concentrates on the football.

Compare him to the likes of Balotelli and you can see my point.

i agree, and im glad, i think madrid would be better off if he passed instead of his usual shoot on sight attitude, he's too greedy on the field

i know exactly the level its at, it has improved, but have you seen the defences in brazil? they are a strikers paradise, plus playing regional leagues against dross teams is an easy way to increase goal tallys, i wont call anyone who scores in brazil world class or watever until the do it in europe, its in a different universe in terms of defences

Regional leagues are a joke but the strength when the real competition comes round is very good. I agree about the defenders, they tend to be journeymen or young "superstars" coming through.

The diving over there is atrocious but for players who have excelled in the Copa Libertadores from what I have seen of it there is a very high standard.

I still wouldn't call it World Class but I think it gets a bad rep from the majority of footballing fans.

Somebody who excels in the Brazilian league would have no trouble going straight from there into the likes of Serie A or La Liga. Premiership or even the SPL is a different matter due to the hussle bussle football that they are not used to but on the whole I think Brazilian Football is better compared to the French, Portugeuse and Dutch leagues instead of the lower leagues like the one were we ply our trade.

yeah i agree brazilian football at its best is probably in the top 5 or 6 leagues in the world, but.....................imagine messi playing there with those defences, he would absolutely tear it up, like embarrasingly imo

tbh i think ronaldo has bulked up to make himself look better:56:
kaka is improving with each game and will be back soon enough.he played well against bilbao scoring a brace and helping the team to a victory, probably his best performance in a long while.

neymar isnt anywhere near as strong enough to play in the spl, prem or even serie A but if he bulks up, he will be. He will then be a world class player, mabye close or even better than messi. his attitude will go with age and experience.

tbh, only time can tell :50:

I got my picture taken with most of the barca squad about 2 years back. Messi was a gentleman and I dwarfed him! I'm 6'2 and he was barey up to my shoulder however I did think "If you were sprinting at me with a football at your feet I'd have no hope".
