    Just turned 24.

Ideal world he stays at Santos for 2 seasons and signs for the proper Hoops at 26, the complete midfielder :50:

Plenty of time to reach his peak, then come back to strut his stuff on the ground he loves.

It wouldn't surprise me if he thought moving to Santos Laguna would maybe give him more chance to return to Celtic one day given our links with the Mexican club.

I would love for him to come back and star for us in CM one day.

Said the exact same thing when he signed for them. He is doing everything in his power to play for us again.

Think about the PR job he is doing there as well now. Any young and quality footballers talking to Crosas will be hearing him wax lyrical about us. He is a hero.

when you talk about legends of the club like larsson, lenny and those sorts of players a would say marc is right up there he never really done it as a player but you can tell he loves the club and fans and will do everything in his power to promote what this club is in every country he goes to

Was sorry he didn't cut it with us, I thought he was going to be a star but wasn't to be. Would love to see him improve and come back in a couple of years.

    Ah no harm meant man.

Larsson, Lennon, etc. are all legends because they done excellent job for Celtic and served the team for number of years. That's what makes them legends, great players whose affection for the club is a nice thing, but certainly not a priority when attaching 'legend' tag to them.

Sweet talk doesn't put Crosas in the same sentence with them. I'm sure there are lots of players who were crazy for the club but never made it. Doesn't make them legends. Twitter and other media and interviews probably bring Crosas closer to fans, but I'm sure a lot of former players feel exactly the same.

difference being crosas isn't scared to say or show his feelings for the club compared to some people who are considered legends

Top lad is Crosas. It's rare for a former player to say so many good things about a club when he has left but it just shows that he really loved it here despite not being in the team every week

This quote for me says it all - ‎"Barca is special to my heart but Celtic is something else. It tells you everything that it was harder leaving Celtic than Barcelona.''

Great guy, i really hope we see him back in a Celtic strip one day, he would love it and many of the fans would be delighted for him. Still quite young too so there's plenty of time for him to come back. Best of luck to him at Santos though! :50: Once a Celt always a Celt :shamrock:

    * me, almost welling up reading that. Not often you get a player with such an obvious love for the club, especially one signed from foreign shores.

Hope to see him playing for Celtic in the Champions league in a couple of years. He is good enough and he certainly wants it enough.

Don't quite get this, does it take courage to come out and openly state love for the club?

Tweeting "1:0 LEDLEY YESSS CMON CELTIC!!!!111" or stuff like that doesn't really make him a legend, that's an exaggeration. Solid player and I'm glad he experienced it all and now has affection for the club, but that's about it.

Not taking anything away from him, good luck to him and hopefully he develops into a great player and comes back one day to live the dream. Just not a legend, that's all.

    Totally agree. Well summed up.

He done the square root of *-all in 2 and a half years here, fans should be sad to see him leave as a person, not as a footballer.

a would say it does most ex players that come out with the kind of undoubted passion like crosas are made out to be villains in our press
