The reason other teams can't compete right now is because Barcelona completely raised the bar. So now Madrid have spent a lot of money trying to out muscle Barca but it hasn't worked like ten years ago.

Malaga and Sevilla will be great next year.

Not that im aware of but I don't think they have lost anybody yet. They were unlucky last tear with injury. They also are an amazing cup team.

His son was named after Sant Jordi, the patron saint of Catalonia. So he got into bother because Franco was trying to kill Catalan Nationalism.

Language politics in Francoist Spain centered on attempts in Spain under Franco to increase the dominance of the Spanish language (Castilian) over the other languages of Spain. The regime of Francisco Franco had Spanish nationalism as one of its bases.Under his dictatorship, the Spanish language (known in some parts of Spain as castellano, i.e., Castilian) was declared Spain's only official language. The public use of other languages was either banned, frowned upon or despised depending on the particular circumstances and timing. The situation evolved from the harshest years of the immediate afterwar (especially the 1940s, also the '50s) to the relative tolerance of the last years (late '60s and early '70s); Franco died in 1975, and his successor Juan Carlos of Spain began the Spanish transition to democracy

Spanish names and Spanish versions of Catholic and classical names were the only ones allowed. Leftist names like Lenínand regional names like even the Catalan Jordi(after Catalonia's patron saint, Saint George) were forbidden and even forcefully substituted in official records. Only Christian names in Spanish were allowed in official documents.

A bit like what English did in Ireland. Trying to kill a identity and a culture.

Real Madrid love Franco. So you can't be surprised that a lot of people class Real Madrid as the huns of Spain.

    As Xavi said

"Celtic, like Barcelona, are more than a football club. Our clubs are a symbol of a culture and community that has not always been made welcome in their respective countries."

Eto'o was fourth. Saosa did it with Juventus and Dortmund.

    One more. No cheating.
