Has he got 3 Champions League winner medals? I can't remember him playing in the final of the Larsson game?

He didn't take part in that game. Neither did Xavi (was on the bench for 90 mins). Iniesta came on in the 2nd half, so did the king.

So two Champions League medals then? Or do you get one if you take part in the competition at all for the winning team?

Any player who's registered in the squad gets a medal. Like Keane and Scholes in 99 although neither are proud to claim they have winners medals for it.

Do many people on here buy Barcelona shirts and Real Madrid? The new Madrid jersey is nice. They're pretty much the same every year though.

Pique also has one from Man Utd and is the only player to have won the Champions League 2 years in a row with different clubs even though he only played 3 games in Europe for them that season.

Nah never had either strip. Madrid have the slickest strip in football though in my opinion. Probably why they don't change it much.

    :56:

What a way to become the first player to do it. Getting one by default. Eto'o I guess can claim having done it properly.

Was just checking it out and N.Mellor was meant to get one for Liverpool in 05 but they lost 3 so him, Warnock and someone else missed out.

He has two more attempts in him. He has achieved more at club level than Pele, Maradona, Ronaldo, Best etc.

He's won the CL, meaning he has done better than every team in Europe

whats the point in this debate?

messi is the best player in the world, most of the people in the sport seem to beleive it aswell the only ones who dont are madrid and portugal fans, and some Man Utd fans, Messi will win the Ballon D'or for a 3rd straight season, deservedly so...

whether he becomes the best ever, time will tell, he could easily shine in a world cup
