    I think he just likes being controversial. It's no secret he grew up supporting us, and Strachan said on Tuesday that the two of them had both been at the Barca game last season, so guess he's still a fan.

    that sounds like a possibility

    but its easy to get him wrong, i think the reason he is so hard on celtic, manu and ireland is because he desperately wants the best for us

    and he knows what's best :smiley-laughing002:

    he doesn't seem to realize that we haven't got billions of pounds to buy in the best players to compete on a level playing field with the barca milan madrid e.t.c or he refuses to believe that we don't have the cash, either way he's wrong, we ain't a epl club

    Keane was an incredible footballer, one of my idols. He is, however, a * bully and a greetin-faced * bandit who - no matter the reason - walked out on his COUNTRY during a world cup.

    I notice people saying he accepts nothing more than best? Aye, he's definitely achieving that as a failed football manager who is now a reluctant tv pundit :rolleyes:

    Same team managed to boss Holland and Portugal in the qualifiers, so no. He in no way was impaired mentally. I love the fact that he felt we could have a chance of winning it. I support his reasons for walking away, as well. McCarthy and the FAI made a mockery of the country in their preparations for the tournament.
