david dein the chairman of Arsenal had an 8hr meeting with Peter Lawell in London over the availabity of Boruc and Arsenal came up with £6M, Celtic said no chance

 

Fabianski is equal or better, but for sure he have more experience than Gordon have!!!

If Celtic sell Boruc, they can make a good deal and buy Fabianski!!!

 

He cant receive any offers from Arsenal, he's under contract. Arsenal would have to get permission from Celtic and negotiate a transfer fee. Celtic would most likely ask for the transfer fee to be agreed first i.e. cannot talk to the other club

Why would Celtic sell a key player thats happy here. I dont think he'll throw a Petrov trantrum either. They'd have to pay big bucks to get our no.1

1) £5M would not get us a equal or better replacement

2) £5M would in no way mean we could build a better team

3) would lose 10+ points a season

4) Would lose a character in the dressing room

5) Would miss his goals celebrations
