Can you buy that or did you make it yourself? I don't know if you still get them but I loved those pretzel flips with their strange combination of chocolatey sweetness and pretzel savouryness.

Last week when it was sunny I was going to mow the lawn for my dad but the day before I was going to do it the cooncil gardener came and did it for us...:icon_mrgreen:

Think I'll grab a bag of those to take in for my night shift tomorrow. Thanks...:50:

Edit: I just had a look on Ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=pretzel+flipz

They are a bit pricey for the flipz though. Last year I bought 2 big bags of KP Meanies from Ireland because we don't get them here any more...:54:

That is pricey.....wonder if the shops that sell american sweets have them.....probably just as expensive but would save on postage....maybe get my son to look next time he is in glasgow...cheers :50:

Oh never heard of them but looked them up there....not keen on pickled onion crisps....should ask oen of the irish lads to send you some over, you could cover the costs :celt_2:

That's a great idea, I hadn't though of that. My friend from work has family in the ROI and last year when she came back from a weeks holiday visiting her family she brought me back a wad of Irish Cadbury's stuff that we don't get here any more. She brought me 2 Tiffins, 2 orange crisp and 2 mint crisp. I like how the Irish Cadbury's stuff has the old style packaging of foil wrapped in paper. I don't think it tastes the same any more now that it's wrapped in plastic. I wish they would start selling the Tiffins here again too.

Ah I remember them.....jeez.....how the * do we not get them? :38: Would love to have the mint crisp and tiffin bars....they were lovely...not a fan of orange chocolate right enough.

Is the Irish chocolate better tasting?

I love food from Ireland.....not been over in a few years but I thought everything tasted better when I was over.....used to stay on an island so it might have been the sea air making me hungry and therefore I enjoyed teh food more.

I think it might just be psychological but when Bernie brought me back a pile of Irish Cadbury's bars I thought they tasted better because they were wrapped in foil. Our Dairy Milk stuff used to be foil wrapped, why do companies have to fix things that aren't broken.

I think it's like when I drink Coke from a glass bottle. Even though it's made the same it seems to taste nicer when it's been stored in glass.

This! Was extra special as it ensured I finished above them in the league for the first time in the club's history. :icon_mrgreen:

I'm the same I love pepsi in a glass bottle but I can never find it. Also I've always wanted Dr.Pepper from Dublin because it's made with the original recipe using real sugar and it's in a glass bottle.
