If Anthony Stokes is fed up I don't * blame him. It's * pish the way Neil Lennon is treating him. Stokes has got a good partnership with Gary Hooper and he is our top goalscorer this season but every time it comes to an Old Firm game Stokes gets dropped for that big * * Samaras. It's not fair that.

I don't blame him. Why he (our top goalscorer!) never came on yesterday I do not know because we were never scoring with sammy and hooper on. He had one bad old firm game and hasn't been picked since, it's really unfair.

    Spot on mate.

Neil Lennon is basically sending Anthony Stokes the message "you're a good player but not good enough to play against Rangers".......that's just wrong.

if it's his da that just saying it then he can * off, the celtic team is more than just his boy, but if it's him telling his da to say it then pack your bags son, your no bigger than the team.

after his action when he got subbed walking down the tunnel and if this is true we should get rid in the summer

he is part of a team, get stuck in and work harder

so your saying if you where playing for celtic and you are a big tim like you are you sould do the same then?

i would tell you to pack your bags aswell

stokes needs to keep his head down after what he done a few weeks back after getting subbed

more hard work less talk or less of your family talking * if it's just his old man talking

I don't think it's anything to do with favourites. Samaras had played well against in previous games versus the huns, so he deserved his start yesterday.

Stokes works well with hooper though, as sammy and hoops clearly don't link up well.

I think it was such a shame he didn't get put on, especially in extra time, Samaras played some good football but his final ball was shocking every single time. I think he now knows himself he is guaranteed a place against Rangers and that's not the way it should be.

Anthony Stokes is a good player, but lets face it, its a complete and utter disgrace that he believes he is guarenteed a starting place against our biggest rivals! I cant remember us doing so well in 6 old firm games sine MON?? 1 defeat (a game in which Stokes played and should have been sent off after 1 minute) 3 great wins, 1 great draw and an extra time defeat! I believe this attitude * stinks... either perform week in week out and prove you can be trusted or * off and languish in the lower reaches of the Premiership. Your a good player Stokesy, but our good performances thius season have been based on a good team spirit and togetherness so dont go and ruin that!!

Has he??? Sometimes he is very good, sometimes he is plain not up for it! Everytime I go on this forum and suggest teams with 1 or 2 changes in it, the next post is " Why change a winning team" so would it have been wise for us to change a winning old firm team?? Stokes is a good player but he is not good enough to want to leave Celtic after less than a season because he is not getting enough games... 17 goals is a strong tally, fair play to him, but he needs to get his head down and not go to the papers, he should get his head down in training and prove his worth!

Exactly what else can Anthony Stokes do to try and get a game against Rangers?

The guy is our top goalscorer so far this season and he's struck up a great partnership with our main striker - Gary Hooper. Stokes has also proved he can score against Rangers when he played for Hibs. What else is the bhoy supposed to do ffs?

Considering the amount of chances Samaras has been given, I find it really baffling why Neil Lennon seems to have adopted this attitude about playing Stokes against Rangers.

He should have got on for the appalling Samaras yesterday, but if this is really his attitude (and not just his * dad mouthing off) then he can get to * as far as i'm concerned. Nothing like as good as he thinks he is.

I noticed stokesy da wasn't in the paper 3 Mondays ago after his deplorable showing at Motherwell in the 1st half!

Stick to running your pub and if your son doesn't like it I'm sure Celtic will take £800000 from hibs and he can go back there and fight for top 6 spot!

Stokes is a * nugget. If he thinks he's done anything of merit to deserve being a regular then he can think again. He was dropped because he was * terrible against motherwell. Grow up you wee fud or at least grow a pair.

I have a lot of sympathy for Anthony Stokes but his old man really does need to STFU. He does not come out of that article well at all.

I would prefer to wait and hear some direct quote from the player himself before judging him. It doesn't sit well hearing about what his father is saying, especially when it's printed in the sun. I'm sure that our management will be speaking to the player and then the situation will be clearer, until then???
