    i think it should be quite comfortable they will go with 5 across the middle coz they will be going for damage limitation....

    then when hooper has bagged his hat-rik lennon and thommo should come on to rub it in there faces!!!! they would still do a job against rangers!

    the game is going to be difficult. they will undoubtedly have 5 in midfield or in defence as they play that against better opposition.

    cant help but feel like maj is gonna be a huge loss i just hope its rogne and mulgrew loovens is a nut case he will get sent off or something or make a stupid mistake my heart cant take watching him against the huns he tries like * but just ent got it , what worries me also is rogne's match fitness in all seriousness how many games has he had lately ? to be thrown in at a cup final like that may be risky cant say im overly confident quitely confident but also nervous as * at the same time .

    I dont think it is going to be as easy as some say !! It is a Final, a one off so they will be up for it. I think they may surprise us and go 2 up front, but that depends on our team selection. i.e If Loovens plays then they may fancy their chances with a bit of pace up front. But its not about what they do, we have the good feel factor back and the midfield will dominate. I feel confident we will win but only by a single goal.

    Just saw the squad. Very strong but just one thought on it.. * was the point in signing Freddie Ljungberg if hes not even in the squad for this. He is a class player to bring in to the fray in the final 20 if we need a bit of magic or a set piece or just to put his foot on it and help the Bhoys out with his experience. Seems strange to me..
    But then I'm no the gaffer.. IN LENNY WE TRUST :50:

    I personally prefer Stokes to Samaras, especially beside Hooper.

    However Samaras has been top notch against Rangers this season, they just can't handle him.

    In my earlier post I said I would start Samaras beside Hooper but this only applies to Old firm matches as it is a tried and tested formation that clearly works & as they say if it isn't broken don't fix it.
