    I must admit, was pretty disappointed with that album. Was better than the blackening but that was *.
    Shame too coz I love Machine Head. One of my favourite metal bands. (burn my eyes is defo up there for top albums.)

    What do you guys think about the big 4? Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth..

    my personal big 4 would be: Exodus, Slayer, Overkill and Annihilator.

    Cant see how Metallica are top 4 - For a start Pantera make them look like a pop band, even though they are no longer unfortunately.

    Iron Maiden would have to be in top 4 as would Motorhead.

    Mate early Metallica was amazing and really were one of the biggest bands about. It's a shame they ended up pish but in their prime they were amazing.
    I would agree though that Pantera *-slap them every day. But I have major wood for Pantera.
