I would love to see him return to Celtic. The man is a Celtic legend and his goalkeeping ability is world class. I think he will stay where he is though.

If he could leave fio for either arsenal or celtic, i would want him to go to arsenal. The man is already a legend here so dont see any point him coming back and maybe ruin hes reputation. I want him to play in the best league against the best teams in the world, that way we may appreciate boruc more for what he has done at celtic. Having said that if he comes back, ill be so * happy

boruc was a cracking keeper but i think if he came back it would be the wrong move for him and the club he needed to move on and so did celtic

we do need a really good keeper for next season but i think boruc would be the wrong move

I think we need a keeper of Boruc's class, and if the price is right we know he can handle playing for Celtic.

Would be worried going (Fingers crossed) into champions league with Forster in goal, how many times has an average keeper cost us in Europe before big Arthur signed.

Some of us seem to be getting very moral and a bit snobbish over this. I dont buy the statement that his time has been and gone, or, he shoudntnget a second chance.

The facts are that we are not in a position financially to go out and buy a top drawer keeper. If Artur was available and wanted to come back we know we would be getting a keeper that, at his best, is as good as any we have ever had. He is a good age for a keeper and we know he can handle the pressur, in fact, he thrives on it.

Transfer fees and wages may be a problem, but if we could afford it, and he was interested we should take a serious look at it.

That's not his "official" twitter  duh

But yeah I'd take him back without a moment's hesitation. Great keeper.

The big man wanted away he was lazy as * here near the end and never gave a * , soon as he leaves here he gets in shape and great form again loved him while he was here and his head was in football one of the best keepers in Europe then .

Boruc was one a great wage here Celtic never wanted to give him a new deal matching what he was on or near it same with Hinkel .

Nothing has changed since then so unless the big man wants to come back and take a pay cut it will never happen.

Think if he goes from viola it will be as soemone else said to the epl or la liga. Certainly would take him back here on condition he stays in the shape he has been in italy. Frey is now back to full fitness so will be interesting to see if the HG can keep his place in team. On recent performances he deserves too.

I would love to see him back here and tbh i think it isnt an impossible signing, back with Lennon in charge Thommo and Mjalby backroom staff, a team worthy of wanting to progress and he will see that potential.

Yes he wanted away but perhaps this was to do with the idiot in charge, Celtic is always in his heart and was idolized by the fans. Bring back the holy goalie the SFA and sally would love that :D

his worst season in a celtic top was 08/09, so if youthink the last one was bad thats 2 bad seasons in a row, he obv lost motovation while playing for us, i would want a new new keeper, not an old new keeper, if you get me lool

If he wanted to come back, I'd be happy with it as long as Lennon makes sure he remains professional (watches his weight, doesn't over indulge in * & drink). Don't think it'll happen though.

I dont agree with that mate. He was clearly unmotivated as most of the players in the last season with Celtic, sadly, I feel that was down to the manager at the time who pretty much gave up halfway through the season (he has since said that he didnt want a 4th season and it showed.)

Artur would be a great signing for us, at his best he was the best keeper I have seen at CP and with Neil Lennon, Mjallby, Thompson and Parker I am sure they would get the best out of him.

When you look at the dearth of keepers available, I would rather have one we know, than one who may freeze in the headlights of playing for us.

well apparently hes lost 3 stone since leaving, thats good, but doesnt it show that he took the spl for granted?, i agree at his best hes great, but i cant see him coming back, hes first choice atm(albeit cause frey got injured) and playing well, he'll move to another team in a good league if he moves at all

I honestly believe he has slipped off the radar a bit. He isnt a first choice at Viola and he may look to leave in the summer. I think he would rather come back to Celtic than end up at a Stoke or Wolves in the EPL. Money may be an issue, but we probably dont have much buying to do in the summer. The team is there, only problem area is the Goalie and he may see that we are in a better place (hopefully) than we were in his last season.

I honestly cant see any keepers out there that may fit the bill.

There's nobody I'd rather see walk back through the doors at Celtic Park than Artur. I would dearly love to see the big man back where he belongs.......with us.
