As it turns out, Artur appears to making suggestions on his Twitter that he may ask to leave Viola if he isnt getting a regular start.

Would he be an option for coming back to Celtic? Certainly the best goalie I have seen at CP (apart from the last season). Not sure if he even would come back, but he may have realised what he is now missing at Celtic.

No he wanted away and the club was not going to match or better his contract so we would struggle to get him here.

If we could get him for a £1m or so, then yes.

Wages probably about £15k - £20k, which we would have when Ljungberg moves on.

Fiorentina signed a young Brazilian goalkeeper in January and he will be their number 2 next season so either Boruc or Frey will be sold in the summer, Artur is a class keeper and seems to have got his act together fitness wise since going to Italy so if we got a chance to bring him back for next season and the transfer fee was not too big I would take him.

He knows he will be idolised here if he comes back. Im sure a reasonable fee and wages would be enough.

The Huns would go into major headslapping meltdown.

I would let him go to the EPL, you should never bring a player back as they are never as good the second time around.
Sorry no, I would not bring him back as much as I loved the Holy Goalie.

I loved him here but I wouldn't want him back. I believe that he is a disruptive figure (which would suggest why the board let him go so easily) and I wouldn't want to upset the team spirit.

But don't get me wrong he is one of my favourite ever Celtic players.

I think he was disruptive under Strachan in the last season, he possibly wasnt happy with the direction the team was going in. Im pretty sure that the Gaffer, Mjallby and Thompson are more than a match for him and would keep him disciplined.

I have no problem with any player coming back that can make us a better side. Maloney came back without too much fanfare and I am sure Artur would make us a better unit than wee Shaun. As we have a Centre back lined up, a good goalie is now a priority. And we know what we are getting with Artur.

think arsenal will try and buy him, they were interested in him for a while, and they don't have a decen GK imo.

While i don't agree sometimes with Kemo i think here you are spot on, i would take Artur back in a heartbeat, if Forster goes back to newcastle then we have the problem of finding a goalkeeper who is better because we want good players coming to celtic and not average ones.

What we have with Artur is we know he is a class goalkeeper, he has got his act together in italy, his fitness is back to usual, i don't see why not, you know what you will get with Boruc, a problem may be wages because i don't think celtic can afford 30-35k a week he would want, but i know for sure if he did come back next season, its a celtic on the up and he would be idolized.

    Yes, I say yes!!!

Dont know if it is a possibility of a return, but he would be major for us. Provided he is fit and motivated he is one of the best around. I also think he has fallen off the radar as far as the EPL is concerned. If one of the big teams came in for him I think he would move, but other than that I couldnt see him at a Bolton or Stoke.

Id gladly take him back but i doubt he'll come back, they'd be plenty of teams in the EPL and la liga who'd be interested.

He'd come back in a heartbeat. He no doubt has been following Celtic this season, and if the team we have sticks together over summer, he'll surely fancy being part of it for a crack at Europe.
