Izzy has no plans to leave Celtic

Discussion in 'Celtic Chat' started by Celtic Bhoy 94, Mar 12, 2011.

  1. Emilio Izaguirre's agent, Pablo Hernandez, insists the Honduras full-back has no thoughts of leaving Celtic despite being linked to Arsenal, Barcelona, Liverpool and Manchester United.

I cant find the link but will post it when i find it:50:

If Barca came in for Izzy I would not be so sure about him staying.

I think Izzy would be one * of a player for barca. Spanish league is perfect for him and he is better then abidal, maxwell and adriano.

  7. He will leave eventually in my eyes. I just hope he stays here for a few year. Would love to see him play in Europe for us.

  8. I give him to next year and * go for about 10m+. Dnt have a clue who else to get at lb.he's one of the best in the country

  9. Our best option at left back apart from him would be Ledley??

Izzy will not spend the rest of his career with Celtic. We need to be prepared for this and maximise what we can get from him as a player AND what finanicial reward we can get for him.

  11. Everyone leaves eventually. I hope we get another three or four years out of him before he leaves and hopefully by that time, we will have singled out someone to replace him at left back.

  12. We need to bring in a good youngster to work under him then step in when he leaves.man u have been doing this for years.

  13. one of the best?! thats being more than generous to all the other LBs!! :D hes THE best by a country mile!

  14. great news :)

  15. Brilliant!:50:

  16. Great news, but if he keeps playing the way he's performed this season then it's just a matter of time really before one of Europe's elite clubs make an offer.

  17. He has no plans to leave but I'm afraid if he keeps playing like he has this season I would fully expect somebody to come in with a bid we can't refuse in the summer.
