Worst Case Scenario: Lenny Leaves. What then?

If Lenny decides to leave then scottish football can go * itself.
I have never been in favour of going to England, in fact I hate the Idea but should the worst happen I dont think theres any other option for us.

I know its not happened yet but if it does, where does that leave us?

what chance do we have if a our manager starts bulding a great team with high hopes for the future only to have to quit after one year?

I am absolutely raging at the thought of this.

if he had to resign due to threats, i think it would be the time for Celtic to leave Scottish football, i truly believe that; what manger is going to want to manage us if a character as strong as Neil was forced out?

 

I think they would just love it if lenny decided to call it quits as for some of the solutions offered on here * sake civil war, attack hamden. set fire to ibrox come on we would be seen the trouble makers you know " We told you so". I like the idea of going to england let them have their league. What league I here you say does it matter i'm sure we would cope it would keep us alive and show them up for what they are . I dont think for a minute the bile would stop it would just shift to something else or someone might have the balls to ask why and then it might change. If they wont change then we should give them nothing to talk about and nothing to print be slective .

Look guys, if he leaves it will be a major, major disappointment to everyone associated with this club. The man is a true Celt and a Legend who has put Celtic in the best position we have been in in years.

However, It will not be the end of the world.

Celtic will go on, as Lenny himself will want to happen, we will get new management staff and we will still win trophies and be successful. This is a big club and things aren't going to stop just because one man leaves even if that man is a legend...Larsson is an example. The club will go on...whats to say that a new manager won't come in and win the league?

There is virtually no chance of Lenny leaving, but if it does happen I will respect his decision as his safety comes first but I will not stop supporting Celtic or Scottish football.

 

Rangers aren't a football team and its about time the sfa admitted it.

 

I would give up on Scottish Football if this scenario follows to the conclusion that the Media wants, Lennon to leave Celtic due to Death Threats.

I would never watch Celtic play against another Scottish team, knowing our SFA/SPL, Police and government allowed it to happen while doing * all.

As it is I am already disgusted by the whole sordid bullying affair.

 

A lot of people missing the point that its elements in his own country, northern Ireland, that are threatening him, not Scots. So no point in ranting on about Scotland, Scots and Scottish society.

 

Its an interesting point though. MON never got this grief but Lenny does. Both are catholic northern Ireland players who managed Celtic. Both are giving Rangers a hard time. I think the difference is actually down to image more than anything else.

As far as I can see it there is no way Lennon will call it a day, he has too much pride and is way to stubborn to let the low life drive him out. Do you think there would be all this happening if Celtic were poor?

if lenny walks away i think there would b utter bedlam! everyones already angry enough with the treatment hes getting and if he was forced to leave everyone would go * berserk!

the whole situation is completely redicilous, i reckon he will walk in the summer and tbh i dont blame him, then what manager will want to come here knowing that if celtic are getting the upper hand on rangers then they will have this crap to deal with. And thats what this is, rangers cant take the fact that we are getting the better of them and look good for the title. Their angry and know they dont have the resources to really improve the squad in the summer so this is their reaction. The rangers fans who claimed lennons racism towards diouf is prove of this, had they won then there would be none of it.
