    Some times a think sammy can be a bit of a donkey but in general hes a top player, he cozed all sorts of problems yesterday! He fairly eats up the ground! Ive always liked stokesy tho, sinse hibs. I think stokes is better suited for alongside hooper but a have soft spot for sammybhoy!

    Depends who we are playing.

    Sammy could hardly walk at the end of the game yesterday due to the weight of having Boughy and Grandad in his back pocket.

    Stokes plays well with Hooper and lets not forget everyone wanted rid of Sammy before the new year OF game, including me.

    Horses for courses, Stokes will finish top scorer and Sammi is a bit of a specialist not just against the huns but away in Europe he could be vital!

    I also think we should sign another striker if we can offload some players, four quality strikers needed to fight on all fronts!:shamrock:

    Stokes, he is a consistent goal scorer.

    Samaras has his uses but you never know what you're going to get with him whereas with Stokes you know he'll provide a goal threat 9 times out of 10.

    Sammy has been here for how long now? And still hasnt really done enough to merit a regular starting place. A couple of good games against the huns isnt really enough. Stokes has shown in a relatively short period of time that he will be more valuable.

    Sammy wont be given a new contract in the summer, simply because he will want an improved contract on the one he has and he isnt worth it. He will walk away for free and good luck to him.

    The occasions he has played well have been great but not enough of them for me.

    Stokes is a better goalscorer than Sammy as he has proven. Sammy seems to be my choice over him on the OF games though because he is a big game player.

    I would play stokes again at the weekend v well and then sammy against Rangers.
    For some reason bougerra and weir struggle to handle him especially with hooper buzzing about.
    And if he has one of his nightmares bring a fired up stokes on.
