We are a better team without McGeady

what di you think? I think he wouldnt even get into the team, talented player that he is, the team was all about him and this team is more of a unit

 

perhaps but if he was still here it would be more potent imho

We are a better team without him....and undoubtedly as much as a I personally disliked McGeady, his sale has helped to finance the team that Lennon has/is building.

 

Class player who would make us even better

 

We would be * top quality if McGeady was in this team. He is 3 or 4 times the player of any other winger at this club.

I disagree. I think McGeady is better than Forrest and Commons. The reason he didn't really perform last year was that none of the team really performed. As we've seen a lot, a poor team mentality often leads to poor individual performances. If he was still here, I think he would shine in this current team.

 

We are a better team without McGeady; but McGeady is better than any of our current wingers. The problem with McGeady is that the team started to rely on him, every time we got the ball we shafted it wide and waited for him to do something. Now I think we're much more unpredictable and we don't over-rely on anyone.

 

I think he would but we have various players in that position who maybe just produce what he did (Commons, McCourt, Forest, McGinn, Freddie).

McGeady was excellent when he turned up but when he didnt he was nowere to be seen. He done us well and we made a lot of money from him and I will always watch out how hes doing now and when he goes to the EPL.

 

i dont miss him but he would improve the team and he would create alot more chances for hooper and stokes

 

I think it is unfair to say that we are better without McGeady. He never played in this team so how would we know? He was the most gifted player to come though our ranks in a long time and is miles better than any winger currently at the club. He would improve this team even more if he was in it

 

Much better without McGeady. We're passing the ball as a team at the moment. He was an individual.

 

I think that in recent years we relied on McGeady too much and in turn he got extra agro for not turning in world class perfromances every week. Every move went through him but now we've got players through the middle and out wide that are more than capable of supplying assists and goals. Much more shared responsibility rather than "here's the baw Aiden, now do somthing and win us the game".

 

We are a better team without the previous clowns who were in the other 10 positions on the park. I think it is unargable that both Boruc and McGeady would improve this team to the next level.

 

I'll be honest, I really haven't missed Aiden McGeady at all.

 

He would revell in our current setup IMO, Izzy and McGeady out on the left sounds good to me, But we are excellent without him anyway. He was a great player for us and will look out for him in the future. Shows his love for Celtic aswell being at the OF in January.

Hope he ends up in the EPL.
