emilo playing well is catch 22...

I know theres alreadya thread on emilo, bu hought this warrented another. just an article on talk sport abut the lad really really singing his praises. what sort of money would it take for you to be happy with a transfer? tbh hes the best celtic defender we have had for years, and with wilson actually learning how to play football we are looking well with our ful backs. I would say about 15 mill if he was to go in the summer.

something makes me think Lenny will be determined to keep his best players, i know it will ultimately come down to the board but im sure Lenny will command a large fee for him.

Im pretty sure this is a non story though

I see where your coming from can you name any better ? For £15 million Izagguire would be the best value for money. Bayern would never sell Lahm, Cole is getting well on, Bale isn't technically a left back. Can you name anyone better except from those I've mentioned. Personally I think he's better than Leighton Baines, Jerome Boateng etc

I don't think we would get much more than 4 million with only 1 SPL season and a couple of games in Europe under his belt. He would need to prove himself a bit more before we would get crazy money, which is good for us.

United paid 7 million for Hernandez, anybody who thinks they would pay more than that for Izzy or is even worth more is kidding themselves.

i dont give a * who wants him, NOT FOR SALE. if the board bottle it and sell our stars i'll be in deep consideration over a new season ticket if we're not going to at least let their values peak.

Even those guys are better than Izzy.

I guess we'll see how 'world class' some people on here claim him to be if Honduras faces Mexico in the Gold Cup.

Keep Emilio- it has taken years to get a decent left back! Sell him in 3 year time if he wants to go!! That would be fair in my book!!!!!

He is a quality player so man who can get to * unless they pay up, he is a wonder signing by Lennon and i think Lennon and the board will want a huge profit if he is to go, but he's too good to let go in my opinion

It does matter if there is another thread open on the same subject especially a Transfer Rumour where it has its own section.

A lot of you aren't realistic. If this news were about a guy in a Rangers shirt, the majority of you would respond differently.

Carrick is pish, had a couple of good seasons but has badly stagnated in the last year or so. Anderson has never had a decent run of form in the Man Utd team. Izzy is better than both of them.

Anyway I'm still going to call bullshit on this story, the media have to invent some way of keeping us from thinking everything's perfect and the old "Celtic's best players targets for big European clubs" thing is as old as the Daily Ranger itself.

I cant stand the EPL; overrated pish - even Charlie Adam is thought of down there!
