Nah we can't sack everyone, I think it would make more sense just to draw names out of a hat.

I trust if Lenny started two full-backs at centre half and we lost you'd be asking the same questions of Lenny?

Surely whoever plays in Central Defence can be expected to stand up as professionals agains a strike force Mackie (Goals this Season 1 ) and Blackman if they play 2 up. Blackman okay had a rich vein of form with Motherwell in 2010 with 10 goals but his professional total stands at 14. It should come down to firepower and provided we deny them the opportunity to play too many balls down the channels ( which is where I see the threat of an unsetlled defence coming unstuck ala the chance on Saturday where the sheep hit the post) provide a solid midfield platform without becoming embroiled in a war of attrition in there ( Kayal is prime candidate to be booked in that case) it then comes down to taking our opportunities when they come along. Too many wasted chances at Parkhead the other week and they will fight tooth and nail at home. I see a 2-1 scoreline but another squeaky * affair unfortunately.

Definately concerned about defending set pieces for tonights game.. At least with Rogne , Maj , Loovens (most of the time) , and even Thompson at the end of last season , they get their head to the ball when required..

It's going to be the simple case of scoring more than we concede tonight to win the game.. I'll go for a 3-2 win..

Alan Muir is the ref for tonight's game..

A lack of height at set pieces is undoubtledly a concern as welland they'll have seen Vernons goal on Saturday as an advantage they can explot as Rogne had just left the pitch.

Having said that we'd taken our foot off the gas and sufficient pressure on Aberdeen in the MF will minimise the number of opportunites presented hopefully.

We have Mulgrew who is 6'3 but not a lot of height elsewhere which is why it wouldn't surprise me to see Celtic line up with Murphy in attack to match Diamond in dead ball situations.

Who ever we play at the back can't do as bad as Thomson, O'Dea and Braafheid did last time we went to Pitodrie.

This will be the hardest game since Ibrox, wee Craig Broon will be hurting & going by his post match comments - thinks they're in with a chance & we got lucky in a 4-1 semi final win at Hampden. :87:

I wouldn't throw Loovens in just yet, he'd only come off after 10 minutes anyway.

A very tough game, we need battlers & I'd play Kayal - even though he's a booking away from a ban.

    Forster

    Juarez -- Wilson -- Mulgrew -- Emilio

    Brown -- Kayal -- Ledley -- Commons

    Stokes

    Hooper

I don't want to risk all 3 players, Stokes, Brown and Kayal case they get booked :54:

yeah hopefully we can go in at half time winning and maybe even sub 1 or 2 then as we have sufficient cover in the middle.

Can't afford to have Brown, Kayal or Stokes miss the Huns game, and the MIB will be all out to book them, so none should play for me. I'd have them on the bench just in case though. Ki needs a rest after a lot of travelling this week, as does Cha, so Crosas and Juarez come in at CDM and RB respectively. This team should still have more than enough to beat an Aberdeen side that we've put almost 15 goals past this season already.

EDIT: Forgot Commons, knew there was something missing.

Sorry if this has already been asked..
If Brown, Kayal or Stokes get booked tonight do they miss the cup game against the huns on sunday or the league game against the huns on the 20th?

    Thanks Liam
Personally I would put out our strongest 11 tonight regardless of the card situation since the league is much more important than the cup. If we go up early then I would attempt to substitute brown stokes and kayal. Going into Ibrox Sunday without any of those guys wouldn't be ideal but aslong as we get the 3pts tonight and beat the huns on the 20th at Celtic Park ill be satisfied.

never knew there was three different points issued for yellows, that seems a con on its own, a 1 point for hand ball, a choice of 1-3 points for a tackle 3 points for dissent we are second top with cards issued st mirren being at the top
