Mark Wilson

I think the club will apply for medals for the full squad

 

Wilson is certainly leaving imo, its why hes not playing. We will be allowing him to rest so that he can make a good start at his new Club. One of my favourite players will be sad to see him go.

 

I would like him to stay. I thought Lustig looked good but when he'splayed he's been poor, and Cha is atrocious so I would like to have Wilson as our 2nd choice RB behind Matthews.

 

Every player should get a medal who's made at least one appearance.

 

Mark Wilson was great for us last season, I hope he stays as he can still do a job for us, I don't see why he can't get fully fit again and return to the form he had before.

 

Neil Lennon just confirmed on Radio Scotland that Mark Wilson played his last game for Celtic tonight and that he will leave the club at the end of the season.

I am sad about this. Wilson has been a terrific servant to the club and has very rarely let the team down when he's been given a game. It's a real shame that his knees have not allowed him to play more often for us.

Thank you for all your efforts Mark. You've done yourself, and the club, proud while you've worn the famous Hoops.

 

Gutted to see him go and delighted that Lennon made him captain tonight was a fantastic touch.

Wish Mark all the best in the future . He was a fantastic player and always gave his all for the club.

 

Indeed, loved seeing him in the Hoops. Best RB at the club, as well! No matter, hopefully Matthews and Lustig can fill his boots.

 

Matthews will fill in his boot for sure and thanks mark for everything you done for us!

He had one of his best years last year, started to score goals, important goals, but Matthews has really cemented the RB berth with Lustig giving him competition, Wilson just wouldn't get a look in next season.

Good luck to Mark, will be a solid player for whoever he signs for next, always welcome at parkhead anytime.

Glad he got the send of he deserved. Too many great guys have left this club without the send off they should have got. Shame his injuries have hampered his career.

I'll miss Mark Wilson.

100% agree. In fact, you took the words right out of my mouth, Marky! Big thanks to Mark for all his efforts over the past 5-6 years & repeatedly having to keep coming back from injury after injury.

 

Done well for us and its good to see him leave us on good terms. Always gave his all , cant ask for much more than that. Hope he gets another club in the summer. Wish him the best !!

 

Should have taken him off in the last couple of minutes or something, give him a nice send off. Thought he could have maybe got a run out in the last game against hearts or something
