Always said he would score goals for us and he is starting to come on to the game, still think the golden boot is Sammon's though, but you never know

I think Stokes is 3 goals behind him and Hoopers 4 but I'm sure Sammon doesn't have much more to score before he wins it. I think he only needs 5 more

how on earth does it work then if all he needs to do is score 5 more and from what sounds like secure the boot for his own?

Stokes and Hooper is one of the most exciting attacking partnerships I've seen at Celtic in a while. I'd hate to see them split. The banter between them during games and in interviews shows they have bonded well, which can only be positive for the team.

6 in 4, can't argue with that, Stokes is coming onto a game and that has everything to do with his partnership with Hooper.

Wow your taking a chance contradicting me!
Dont you realize I am a legend in ma aen mind? :icon_mrgreen:
Stokes has better control of a ball than Hooper, his first touch is better, and he can shoot better than Hooper, who is a poacher which for me is acceptable.
Anyhoo both done well against Hearts.

look, I'm only considering other aspects of your team. I'd hate just as much as you if we lost to those c*nts that's why i'm concerned. But we have to be real. We have watched some class footballers over the years but stokes just ain't one of them.

Just to give the Bhoy a bit of credit. We knew when he signed he would score goals but that doesn't mean he should not get any credit for us. The first goal was important today and he more or less created it for himself... something he does a lot and he also creates chances for other players.

It's funny actually how little recognition he gets, he scored the first and almost set up the second as Commons missed his cutback but if he connected there'd have been every chance of a goal.

Our top goal scorer and assister, something that hasn't happened since Larsson played for us.

    Well done Stokesy!

The thread on here slating him and those that were overly vocal in their berating of him look stupid.

He was signed to score goals, he has scored goals. It was always going to be the case given his previous SPL record which is the equal of any striker since the SPL's inception and that is Kris Boyd inclusive.

If he stays at Celtic and remains fit he has every chance of joining the ton club....as does Hooper.

Really like Stokes he's in top form at the minute after that dry spell, really after finding his feet. I agree he deserves more credit hes a fighter and has the stomach to be a top Celtic man. Long may his partnership with Hooper continue and * it I'm backing Stokesy to score next Sunday!

Must admit I didn't really like him earlier on in the season but he has certainly came onto a game mainly since Hoops come back they look a deadly partnership

He's done what we knew he would, score plenty of goals, what * me off is when he gets slated after a game he's played out of position
