    Loyal Crosas

Not sure if anybody else noticed this but when Sammy scored (I think it was when he scored his first goal) he went near the crowd and Crosas who was warming up at the time, jumped on top of him and started celebrating with the crowd and looked absolutely delighted that we had scored. When you take into account his last appearance was months back and its very unlikely he still has a Celtic career I think it proves that he clearly still loves the club and knows how much these games mean to the fans.

Alot of players who had barely featured for months wouldn't be bothered about us scoring a goal if they wern't involved but Crosas clearly still cares for the club and is a loyal player for us.

    Was great to see :50:

Had a look for a clip but couldn't find it so if anyone could post the clip that would be great :icon_mrgreen:

Ye I saw that as well, Hooiveld & McGinn ran over to celebrate with Sammy as well, cos all 3 of them were warming up behind that goal when Sammy netted.

He seems like a really nice guy and takes a lot of time out to reply to fans. Fair play to him :50:

  6. yeah he goes mental with everybody then you look at stokes for the next goal and he just hugs sammy and walks away

yeah they're reaction was spot on...but its funnier if you watch it back and look at the nick of weir trying to get back....he realises he wont catch sammi and gives up just before sammi pulls the trigger........we need to be stretching this defence that way all the time....weir turns like the QE2 and he has about as much pace as a rainy weekend in peterheid.

Think the guy deserves a chance. He is a great passer of the ball IMO, and Barca obviously saw something in him, anyone who comes up through the Barca academy should be class... maybe not good enough to be a first team regular, but he should certainly get the odd game and come off the bench regularly. I think he should definitely play against Berwick at the weekend.

I saw this too. I dont understand why Lennon hasnt played him, even off the bench, at all. He didnt do anything wrong, and he clearly has passion for the club. There is a lot of competition in midfield though I suppose. I reckon the club will try to offload him this month.

Yeah, he's a top top guy. Even Jos Hooiveld as well who hasn't played in a while ran to join in the celebrations as well.

I * love these guys after yesterday and I love Celtic

Said this in a previous post:

Crosas should be moved on, probably more for his own good. He's comfortable and he loves living in Glasgow and that's why he's stayed so long with few opportunities, but he rarely plays and therefore doesn't bring much to the team. A shame, because I've got a soft spot for him. A good player, though he would be more suited to the Spanish league.

That was amazing to see him leap onto Sammy's back after the first goal though!

Dunno if any of you saw a programme on tv just before Christmas, Stokes was on it talking, do you know he is that big a Celtic fan, he couldn't name the team that Celtic beat in the '67 European Cup Final:47:

I like the guy and really do feel for him because he is a good player and obviously he loves the club, but i just cant see him fitting in to this celtic team unfortunately.
