Thats not allowed anymore,a player just cant want to play football for a big club and have no big other motive(wages etc) :50:

Anyway, this is a massive game for us,possibly the biggest of the season so far,and one that will show(hopefully)that the celtic of old are back and will take no prisoners on our way to the league title. We all know its going to be a very physical game and as much as id love an early goal to settle our nerves and rock hearts nerves i dont see it,i think we'll win but will have to fight tooth and nail for it. 2-1

    Forster

    Wilson Rogne Mulgrew Izzy

    McCourt Kayal Ljungberg Ledley

    Hooper Stokes

    Subs:
    Zaluska
    Loovens
    Juarez
    Crosas
    Forrest
    Brown
    Keatings

Dont see hibs doing anything in their game although it would be great of they could get a shock win cause that would put us 7 clear and even if they win their 2 in hand we'd still be top.

if we repeat our pattern of having a great first half and a lousy second half and scoring only once we are in big trouble.

Can only hope that we are 3-0 up and have the game in the bag at HT, otherwise it's gonna be ascrappy game that a single goal may settle.

I believe we must have this game won at HT or hearts can sneak something against us.
United, Inverness and Killie only prove my point.

How come? They've both played numerous times and have kept numerous clean sheets.

Hearts will be more scared of our strikers, let's not forget that.

Both of our strikers will be feeling confident just now and I reckon Stokes will be especially keen to score against Hearts.

For the first time since big John and the king partership I actually feel confident that we have enough to cause any team in the spl massive problems with Hooper and Stokes.

I really should keep my mouth shut (even though it is and I am typing) but I am extremely confident that one of our strikers will score on Wednesday, it's a great feeling to have as a fan to know that your two strikers are both capable of scoring goals at this level on a game to game basis.

If we can keep these two together and we can keep them both injury free the Hooper/Stokesy link up will only improve thus resulting in more goals for the pair of them :icon_mrgreen:

In many respects I can almost compare them to the huns last season with Boyd (Hooper) the most prolific goal scorer who is quite physcial and will try stay in and around the box looking for oppertunites like a poacher and Miller (Stokes) linking up with him and using the channels and changing positions causing defences problems.

When Hooper is having a dry spell in front of goal you know that Stokes will help him out and vice versa :50:

    Forster

    Juarez - Wilson - Rogne - Izzy

    Forrest - Brown - Kayal - Ledley

    Hooper - Stokes

I would love to see Juarez getting a chance otherwise we have just wasted what was it 3.5m???

I would rather have Wilson at CB than Mulgrew even taking into consideration the fact that he may have to go up against Kyle, Wilson can do a good job at CB and has played there a few times before.

Push Ledley LM and see if his movement and passing range can cause problems, Kayal and Brown will give 110% for the cause tracking back and running forward with the ball.

Bring on Paddy with 20 to go if we to change things.

    3-1 Celtic :50:

    C'mon the hoops!

Put anyone decent against those two and they'll crumble. I'm surprised Wilson is still around, he's always just been awful and the only thing Mulgrew can do decent is cross a ball. With him at centre back, that ain't too much of a help.

Put Stokes and Hooper up against any SPL centre half and the centre half will crumble.

If it turns into a shoot out, I know who my money will be on....even with an untested centre half pairing.

I don't think Wilson is anywhere near as bad as you've made out.

Can't see Hearts playing as bad as they did against the huns but on the other hand I think we can step up also ,should be a good one,we can win this if we are up for it.
It's a big few weeeks coming and could decide the season.

Marc Wilson does not fill me with confidence at all, every single game he's looked a little suspect when defending. We need someone in there instead as Hearts are not going to be pushed over so we'll be doing alot of defending and rogne or the other CB need to keep Kyle quiet.

I'll go 1-0 to us but I fear a draw.

Truth be told this is big, this game sorts the men from the boys, do we really want to win the league, the guys should already know the answer and should go out to prove so.

The forwards toughest game together aswell so we'll see how they get on, I don't think the hearts defence is that great, they had wins but they've conceded goals also. We should get chances and we really really need to take them.

I've been happy with Mark Wilson at right back recently, not sure about him playing at centre back though. Very bad managament if Jos (don't rate him) being sent on loan and Maj's injury leaves us with only 1 fit, tested centre back for such an important match.

Me and my brother will be over from Holland for this one, so I don't expect anything less than a win.

What we have to do is get behind the team. As soon as they come out we should give them the biggest roar since the last old firm game at home and let them know that we really need them to win just as much as they know it aswell. Even do what we done before the first home game and waited for the players to come in the stadium and give them the biggest cheer we can. This game is big and it will be like an old firm which is why I am looking forward to it. I know as soon as we get a goal Parkhead will be bouncing the way it would be on derby day. I just hope that the Bhoys don't slip up and get the result that we really want them to get :celt_2:

    Forster
    Wilson Rogne Majstorovic(if fit) Izaguirre
    Forrest Brown Kayal McCourt
    Hooper Stokes

Sub Bench: Ljunberg, Juarez, Towell, Mulgrew, Ledley, Zaluska, McGinn

If Majstorovic is not fit then I would put Wilson at CB with Juarez at RB. I don't want to risk putting Mulgrew at CB because he won't cope with Hearts.

Cmon lads lets get into these * *! :47:

That's assuming Maj is fit, if not, I'd drop Mulgrew back into the center and put Paddy in for him on the left.
