Hamilton 1 v 1 Celtic Post Match Thread

Maj and Rogne were out run all day long by 5ft nothing Hasselbank the hobbit. Mulgrew is not Celtic class, Forrest has been off the pace lately, Wilson had a duff game and Stokes is not a lone man centre forward and can't hold up the play. McCourt was holding onto the ball far too long tonight and ran sideways more than he ran forward. Can anyone enlighten me to what Joe Ledley brings to the team? In 6 months all he seems to have done is played a good ball into Samaras at Ibrox, other than that he has been a passenger.

Lennon with another clueless substitution, Kayal, one of the only players on the park with a bit of dig and urgency about him, subbed for Brown. The fans booed the decision aswell it was that ridiculous. Kayal taken off while Mulgrew wanders about the park like a * lost child in Tescos. Great one Lenny.

Why do we decide yet again we want to win a game in the last 10 minutes?

Oh and the ref was *, but we were worse.

2) First outing in Europe for new team & manager, give them time
3) Ross County was last season
4) We were up against bottom team and 4 officials
5) Just about everything!

Start supporting your team and manager and stop with all the bile!

 

Quite sad that some are overlooking the obvious bias tonight in order to try and fuel their agenda against our own manager.

I can't believe I'm actually saying this but with the sort of formation we were playing tonigh we need someone like Kenny Miller up front. Stokes will be fine when Hooper's back, but he just isn't capable of playing the role he was asked to tonight.

Forster: not a lot to do 6
Wilson: awful 3
Majstorovic: a bit shakey, headers need to be directed better 6
Rogne: not his best but steady enough 6
Izaguirre: brilliant second half 7.5
Forrest: shouldn't have been sent off but he was crap before that 4
Kayal: needed to change his boots in the first half but showed a bit of passion which was missing elsewhere, unlucky to be subbed off 6
Ledley: was he playing? 1
Mulgrew: actually had a decent game, maybe he's a mf not a df 6.5
McCourt: didn't release the ball quick enough, poor for the third game in a row 4
Stokes: not a lone striker but pretty poor. Good penalty 5
Mcginn: not Celtic class, too selfish 3
Ljungberg: looked alright but didn't get a lot of time on the ball 5

Lennon: I don't like the formation he is playing (4-4-1-1) as it doesn't best utilise the players we have available at the minute. Starting line up was ok other than that, but once again the subs were bizarre. Kayal who was doing ok made way when Ledley hadn't kicked a ball all game (/season), after Forrest went off I felt Juarez would have offered more than mcginn working the entire right hand side himself. Didn't read much into his interview as he was clearly raging and trying not to say too much to get himself in trouble again. 4
