Would seriously doubt theres anything to this rumour but I'd let him go for anything over £2m. Isn't a starter for me anymore, plenty of cover in his position, not a very talanted footballer. £2m would be a good price as we paid £4.5m or whatever and so we would have paid around £2.5m for three years for him which is reasonable. Would take whatever we get for him, add about a million on and go buy a very good defender or striker.

After Liverpool signing Kyrgiakos I don't think it's totally unrealistic to believe they might want Scott Brown. Kyrgiakos......I mean....* :97:

Alright this might be a complete stretch..but did anyone notice that when Broon came on against Berwick that Big Dan kept the Captains armband? And if Broon really isnt in the squad tomorrow then I'll expect something is up.

nothing in it - its very rare for the 'captain' to come on and then go for the armband. The man who starts as captain finishes as it - providing hes not injured.

Broony is rated very highly by Lenny.

kenny * miller is valued a 1mil and he's nearly out of contract. broon is ten times the player that peckerhead is. therefore, 10mil sounds reasonable

    Broony!
I was never a fan of Brown, however since he was out you could see our midfield not coping and when he returned you could see the difference he made. Adds grit, dig and determination to the midfield.
And yeah, ok, some of the figures quoted might be a bit much for some but think about it.
    He's our captain
He makes a difference when he plays, meaning he is influential
PR machines work (wee diddy mclean with big drunken ferguson)
So absolutely, ask for £10m, maybe even more.
That way we either keep a player who is showing he is worthy of keeping, or we make a significant profit, however MUST re-invest every penny!!!
TBH though, would rather sell/free those who are highly unlikely to get a game.

Have a feeling Broony is going to be a real star for us if he stays. I think he can finally play in a role that lets him use his talents further up the field. If he had to go, I would not want to see him go for less than 6 million which is not a big sum by EPL standards. If he does well there his value would double in a season. Personally I think he has lost so much time to injury etc over the last couple of years that he would still benefit from a couple of seasons more with us before moving to the EPL.
