    Yedlin is * as well, really anyone could tell Newcastle to steer well clear of him. Madness when you see clearly * players getting chance after chance in England, * seemingly none the wiser to what the average fan can see.

    £5million they are paying for him as well :39::88:

    I wouldnt even take him to Celtic for free.

    he was injured when he joined, last night was the first match he was fit for selection. it would be a bit unwise to drop a new keeper into potentially the biggest match of our season having only trained with team for a number of hours and still to approach full fitness. of course gordon was going to get the nod.

    id be surprised if gordon was our number 1 by the time the first group game comes around

    Mad that he has 39 caps for the US . Definitely a downgrade from Janmaat, been one of their best players last few seasons

    Hart actually has the same problems as Gordon, makes howlers too often, cant kick a ball and a shitebag on his line.

    If Hart was Swedish or something he'd have been playing for a team like QPR.

    Paul Robinson the previous Joe Hart was * as well but somehow survived for years at Spurs just because he was the England keeper really, Calamity James was probably a better keeper but had the reputation of a dafty so didnt get to play as much for England.

    Was just looking at sky sports earlier and saw that Man City are looking at offloading Mangala on loan to Napoli. He cost what 30 million? Now if they are willing to take a hit on that sort of money surely Roberts signing permenent isnt as far fetched as many think.

    theyre not exactly taking a hit though. he could go on loan to Napoli, have a storming season and then earn himself a 30m move to Juve or someone like that.

    thats one of the stupidest things about the EPL, it's as if just by playing in that league a players value automatically surges, even if theyve done nothing.

    Look at dijilobodji as an example, bought for 3m by chelsea and just sold for 8m after barely kicking a ball. crazy!

    I agree about the English market its outrageous at the minute. But still to spend 32 million on someone and then loan him out the next season? Its madness. I would put nothing past the EPL clubs so Roberts signing up here is definitely not as mad as I thought it sounded a week ago.

    Chelsea seem to be masters at that, buying guys then punting them for more without them doing anything or actually looking poor players. Djilobodji, De Bruyne, Lukaku, Mo Salah, Perica, Filipe Luis, Romeu, Ba, Van Anholt, Schurrle, David Luiz, Ramires, Alex, Meireles, Sturridge etc

    No matter who the * sign they seem to sell them for more than they bought them for :smiley-laughing002: only guy they got stung with was Torres.
