    i agree.dont know why people find it unrealistic that brendan is looking at a fellow countryman(davies).i would have him based on ability alone.

    seems more logically realistic signing to me than ibrahimovic and joe allen.despite the hun connection.

    Really hope it's not Naismith, his technical ability is painful to watch.

    Don't care how much of a 'worker' or 'grafter' he may be either.

    steven davis would not be so stupid as to come here, guy is from a loyalist northern irish background and would be seen as the ultimate judas at home and wouldn't be safe walking the streets of glasgow either. boyhood hun who played for the huns and is now earning good money at a good premiership club to boot.

    Doonans confirmed its Davis- I think hes a top player always have. I would be really suprised if he signed for us dont think it would be worth what it would put his family through. If he wanted to sign though I would have him in a heartbeat.

    As many have pointed out I can't quite see why Davis would come here?

    It's not like he doesn't get a game at Southampton, has just signed a long term deal for them this summer and is 100% one of them along with all of his family too.
