    So apparently he's Scandinavian and his agent is in Russia.

    Saw someone suggest Carlos Strandberg. On paper it doesn't seem like a great signing but apparently Dortmund were close to signing him.

    That would potentially be the biggest anti-climax ever.

    I'm now thinking Marcus Berg. He's Scandinavian and has scored for fun in Greece which fits in with Rae's 'barrel load' description.

    Standberg has only been in Russia for 5 months so I don't think cska will be letting him go, berg is turning 29 soon so might be a bit too old considering our recent transfer policy.

    I think if there is any truth in this, the player will be a bit older than what we have bought recently. It's what we need, experience.

    29 is peak for a striker as well, he is consistently still scoring goals and has re-found his form over there.

    He fits the description as well. Don't know why I hadn't thought of him prior to this.

    I'm pretty confident it will be Ibra. He has said certain things in the past that wouldn't rule him out, his agent a few weeks ago was saying that the next club Ibra will join will 'surprise people' etc...Also, I just really want it to be him, imagine how * brilliant having Zlatan in the team would be. :50:

    I think that's half the problem with this rumour. It started off fairly simple, a player who many would expect to be beyond us and someone who would draw the crowds in. Then all of a sudden we've got others jumping in claiming that he's played against us in the past or that he's Scandinavian.

    Even if the initial rumour started by Alex Rae is true, which is still questionable in all honesty, it's completely spiralled out of control with every other pundit/journalist/rumour site wanting to pretend that they know something.
