    It will be martin odergaard , real madrid want to loan him out and i reckon they will maybe only loan him outside of spain if he was getting champions league experience , we have been linked with him quite a lot recently .

    Alex Rae mentioned at the weekend that it was a striker playing in Europe, and that the name raised his eyebrows when he was told.

    He said he wouldn't reveal the players name, or his source, but Gerry McCulloch said tonight that Rae said the talks are at an advanced stage.

    I hope get whoever it before the playoff game because realistically we either get £17 million for the champ league or £17 million for selling Van Dijk(£10 million) plus the £7 million you get for the Europa. Just get it done now.

    If this is true then it's going to be a 'big' name.

    He wouldn't have raised his eyebrows or been hugely surprised if it was De Sutter or a Finbogasson level player. He also wouldn't suggest that us fans would be absolutely delighted with it and want to 'spent our hard earned cash' as it was put previously. That can only mean a well known name.

    I think it would be someone like Huntelaar. If we are buying the player (and he isn't a free agent or anything) then we must be talking a good bit of money for someone like him. I couldn't see it.
