    They're no half decent and haven't played as regularly as Stokes though tbh. Griffiths also managed to score roughly 1 in 2 last season in the league.

    Fair comment Jeffrey,I would love for us to buy an established international player but that isn't going to happen,looks like we are into developing players now that's why I suggested a realistic target,imo he has the kind of attributes I think the manager is looking for, gets around the pitch closing down players,breaking up play,high intensity just my opinion mate.

    Preliminary agreement between Sporting and Celtic Scepovic

    The Celtic Sporting sent this afternoon to the formal proposal for the transfer of Stefan Scepovic. The offer, which had already been made in some contact during the negotiations that have taken place in recent weeks, provides for the payment of EUR 2.5 million and 5% of a future transfer of Serbian striker to another computer. In principle there is harmony between all parties with an agreement in principle, and expects the transaction to close in the next few hours. Juanma Lopez, the player's agent, also driving options PSV Eindhoven, Werder Bremen and Twente, but beyond some contacts inquiring about the status of the player, none has posed a firm offer yet. Nor has there been a substantial increase in the initial proposal of Celtic, contrary to what was reported yesterday from Glasgow, which anticipated a new effort of four million euros for the striker to dispel the interest of other clubs.

    Aye, got that. :50: Just thought it looked a bit funny. The Scottish media always seem to ask players like him stupid questions, so wouldn't really surprise me if they actually did ask what he made of him. :smiley-laughing002: Scepovic did play in the Seria A with Sampdoria I think so maybe Pirlo knows a thing or two about him? :icon_mrgreen:
