I don't think he's lost to much of his pace if any and he's a born goalscorer. Score for fun up here and can be an expectanced head for Europe, watt, stokes, and balde would learn loads from him on training..

The signings so far are encouraging, but we could be doing with some pace wide left, someone we can make some money from and i think maybe it's time to do the Mackay-Steven deal.

Then a lot depends on what happens with Hooper and Wanyama. It might be that we have enough cover with Mulgrew playing in Midfield and Tony Watt up front. I think Lenny is being fair to these guys by not going out and signing midfielders, but someone with unbelievable pace is all we really need to add and Macaky Steven at 1.5million is maybe an easy deal to do, with a good potential sell on fee.

I still think Balde will struggle to adapt up front with Hooper, if Hooper does get his move i'd go with another big African guy. Jeremy Bokila.

As far as left wingers go, we'll see how Paul George gets on in pre-season.

Celtic are keen to secure the services of Sunderland left sided player James McLean on a 4-year deal. No bid thus far #celtic #safc #yhihf

These rumours are terrible, they know how long the deal will be even though we haven't made a bid:smiley-laughing002:

No offence but I hate when folk say that about players:smiley-laughing002: There is absolutely no guarantee that a 34 year old Nicolas Anelka would score for fun in the SPL. He only scored 3 in 22 when he went over to China and tbh throughout his career his goalscoring record is hardly amazing considering the amount of money spent on him. Anyway he is signing for WBA. He will no doubt continue to earn £30k+ a week. Madness.

Juninho just left NY Red Bulls, and I mean THAT Juninho, as in free kick Juninho, no EBT Juninho if he's still kicking around :smiley-laughing002: Could give us European experience and that bit of flair and technical ability I think we lack. He's 38 though

4 year deal but no bid. Shockingly embarrassing.

Seen a Celtic page on Facebook say that we are lining up a £1.2m move for Barry Bannan. Dunno where the * they are getting that from, I would take him though.

I'd take Bannan in a minute but I can't see Lambert letting him go,and as for McLean I don't feel it would be fair on the boy playing up here for us,he would get no end of hassle and maybe even worse

He is on the way out I think.

That was from an article in the Daily Mail last month however I have seen elsewhere that he is being allowed to leave.

That's interesting but does he not fill the Commons role more rather than totally out wide
