    Chamakh or Carroll on loan would be excellent, but wages make it so unrealistic that it's barely worth spending much time thinking about, imo.

    Would have him tomorrow, but yes: his wages would be a struggle. I really wanted us to get him back in 2008, before he signed for Nantes, when both us and the Oldco were after him.

    I'd take Klasnic, even at 32. Good player, experienced, and could really do a good job up here and Europe (if/when) we get there.

    Klasnic is a yes from me too...also Marcus Rosenberg. Available on a free, 6ft 1 and not the worst record for werder Bremen (40 in 123 not all starts obviously according to wiki) 29 years old, free agent and would do a good job for us upfront in europe I think.

    Now SURELY Lenny and co are aware of both Klasnic and Rosenberg being available on frees? Two that we should enquire about....if we havent already that is.

    Of course they know. Every club gets details automatically of all free transfers. Their agents will also automatically alert all clubs with potential to sign the player...whether he would sign for them or not.....to generate interest his his client.

    He's been talking us up a lot. Said our ground and facilities are at a standard of the top 6 in EPL. Said it's brilliant club. I think someone from his agency will sign.
