Some Airdrie fans saying he's miles better than Tony Watt....

 

he is absolutely terrible, i've never watched him in the mls but I've seen quite a bit of him for the US and I wouldn't want him anywhere near a Celtic jersey. He makes Altidore look like Messi and I don't rate Altidore.

 

but Altidore was going to be the next Freddy Adu and he was going to be the next Pele!

 

Heard from extremely good sources that Barcelona are looking at Thomas Rogne and Ki.

i seriously doubt Barca are sniffing about. like seriously doubt it. if it is true though, happy days as we're looking at around £15m for them.

Laugh and disbelieve all you want, I am not the type to sit and make up stories about players.

From what I hear their main interest is in Rogne while looking at Ki.

My source is a mate of mine working for a sports agency out of Geneva, he knows I am a mad Celtic fan and thought the news might be of interest.

The only reason I can believe it is....

Rogne - I look at the lad and fit, I think he is probably the best Centre Back I have seen play in the hoops in a very long time, I doubt he would be expensive and could do a job.

Ki - Since picking up his award he is extremely valuable in the far east market, which is very lucrative and with his age and talent, could be interested in taking him on that basis, I am guessing.

Either way, if not true no skin off my nose I would never deny any Celtic player a chance to play at the Nou Camp and wear the Barcelona colours.

Would not be the first time a big club has wasted money and time on players from the UK now, would it.

 

Wouldn't mind zaliukas at celtic if we could get him on the cheap to tighten up the defence

If Barcelona were to look at any of our players I'd expect it to be Izaguirre.

He offers a different option to Abidal, who is getting on ow anyway.

Imagine Izzy and Alves on either flank. Reminiscent of Cafu & Carlos.

 

Zaliuska is no better than Loovens who seems to be surplus to requirements.

 

Omer Damari was linked to us but moved to another Israeli team. 11 goals in 16 games with a £2.5m buy out clause. 3 goals in 6 in the Europa League this season too.

we should keep an eye on him if all others fail imo.

 

When I was first told, he said he was a defender and I had assumed it was Izzy.


But on both names mentioned, you never really know at what level they can play at, the SPL is difficult to judge because rarely do the players really get to show just how much talent they have.

But as far as I am told, they are looking at both.
