Unsure mate they are not getting many takers for him fee deals have not happened mabye a loan view to buying him could be done , worth a shout .

 

Would definetly be worth a shout. I was looking about and seeing a 4 million euro fee being discussed. You have to think that we could afford that.

 

Would think so loan would be perfect view to buying him would score here no problem.

I fancied Grant Holt from Norwich a few months ago and got scoffed at. Now?

He is in the EPL with Norwich and playing like the target man that we need. We couldnt afford him now, though we could have when he was in the Championship.

 

Agree with you there mate. Holt would have been an excellent signing. Sadly, there is no chance we will get him now

 

Even when he was in the Championship we had no chance Lambert was building a side and does not need to sell .

A bit like us being after Lambert from Southampton only way we would get him if they wanted rid to improve again they are building a side and no need to sell.

 

Its genuinely depressing that we have no chance of signing players like grant holt

 

We should go for vedad Ibisevic rated at 6 million. And before people start saying we can't afford players that cost 6 million, I guarantee we will spend over 6 million on duds in the next 2 transfer windows. So we may as well spend it on quality.

 

we have not went for the bigger transfers like long or keane, long scores for fun and would have been a 10m plus player in 1 season why cant the business men at cp see it as an investment plus a helping hand to glory..keane i understand regarding sell on fee,s not being there but a player of longs age, come on you,s the head give these guys the 30g pw and pay 6m.the last time we did was lenny sutton and hartson exactly totaly worth it...spend to profit.;et the moths out.

 

with the recent rumour of Ridgewell from brum how about this as an idea, we need a strong target man right? well is Zigic still there too? bit of long shot but lets think about it the dude is a beast at 6"8 and would be a nightmare to handle in the spl.

How about a a joint £6mill bid for both Ridgewell and Zigic and offering Murphy??

celtic please, get the finger out and sign zigic, he's be great up here, very physically suited to the SPL and he would be decent in europe

 

Wages might be problem but the fee would not brum looking for 2m they need him off the wage bill being ordered to sell from the bank Dann will do too maybe 1 or 2 more.

 

Problem is zigic will be on 40/50k a week, and we simply cannot afford that.
