Character assassination of Anthony Stokes thread

Stokes has knocked back Celtic to go to Championship bound Charlton

I hope he ruins his career down there which will probably happen

Celtic don't knock on the door twice I hope Anthony Stokes he enjoys the Championship when we are in the CL -money grabbing clown:38:

But surely he has a house or something in Scotland considering he's was playing for Falkirk for a few months.

Whats all this aabout charlton stop it yous are a realy pain in the * spreading this stuff with no back up hm stop it just because it's not been announced yet doesn't mean hes signing for charlton it could be a few days untill it's finished remeber he need to get a medical etc so stop this stuff unless you have proper backing by real sources with are realiable not a post on another forum which convinced yous yesterday that he did sign for them yestarday.

So far hes not at charlton so far hes not having talkis with them so far there is no evedence pointing that he has not signed for celtic ok stop it he said he liked scotland and I have to say he has probably more chance of joining roy keane than going to charlton hm who just rejected charl a bit ago oh who pressley and hes not a celtic fan.

NO EVEDENCE SO FAR SO STOP TALKING ABOUT IT !

Let's get it right here Johnny, everyone here is surprised, shocked even, that the boy chose Charlton over us. In my opinion, and probably the opinion of everyone else who knows the situation (except Charlton of course), he's made a HUGE mistake in making his decision.

But listen, to say you hope he wrecks his career is out of order. He's an 18 year old young man on the start of his proper professional career, statements like that i'd expect to hear from a hun not a good tim like yourself.

Hopefully he can score goals and keep Charlton up, but i don't see it happening, coz they are not very good. He will realise the error of his ways, and all i can say is it's his loss.

What are you on about 'Better chance of a first team place'?

He would have gone straight into our team, our strikers are misfiring. The fact that despite having Magic, Miller and Beattie, WGS wanted him, that tells it's own story.

He'll be getting relegated at the end of the season, so good luck to him in the championship.

I find this decision completely baffling. As I understand it, Celtic made him a good offer, not as much as Charlton (only because they are desperados) but certainly not a pittance.

    One season wonder.

At the end of the day, the boy's a good player but it's not as if we missed out on the new Larsson or anything. There are other players on the horizon for us, so maybe some of you should stop being so bitter and forget about him. He's made his bed, let him lie in it.

Anthony Stokes was at CP ready to sign for his club he was suppose to support as a boy

But obviously Stokes has been phoned by Charlton and they have offered him more money

It is a purely ££££ decision and I hope Stokey boy regrets it

Dave.......theres a much better chance of him retaining a 1st team place with Charlton than with us.... that has to be a fact, but was probably not a main factor for his decision as explained before

Don't get me wrong Mike, it is an unbelievable decision the boy's made. As a young professional footballer, of Irish and Celtic origin? After getting such a successful initiation period into the SPL? He had the chance to play for the club he loves (obviously not enough) and be loved by the supporters, as well as being in amongst the medals, trophy's, CL and all the other privileges that go with being a Celtic player.

But he gave it all up for ultimately a Championship side who just got pumped in the F.A.Cup. I'm struggling to see how he could possibly be of sound mind to do what he's done.

He is a plonker, but yes, some of you should back off the boy, i say again it's his loss.
