    a lot of this falls on lennons door and many of those he has brought in are mediocre so if he fails this year then i'd get shot of him along with the murphys etc

    I enjoyed his hold up player earlier in the season (pre-injury). Little bit of Chris Sutton about him.

    But since his comeback (maybe past 3-4 appearances), he's personally been on a bad run of form and this has co-incided with the teams bad form.

    Not a good time for him, and shouldn't be selected until the teams performing much better, but for * sake he's not the worst ever player and will hopefully go on to play the target man role well for us....

    Maybe he's not as bad as I thought. He's never Celtic class, but looking at this thread from Sunderland fans he might not be total *. They've seen a lot more of him than me and they are saying things like he's better than McGeady and is worth 4 mill.

    Maybe he's lacking confidence. We should get behind him.

    I know, it's ridiculous, but he must be half-decent for them to be saying that. About half are saying he's very average and half are saying he's decent and is a top Championship striker. No one's saying he's absolutely awful.
