Thought that as well. CL anthem was completely drowned out on the tele. Much as I love that song, the atmosphere when it comes on gives you goosebumps.

That display was one of our most elaborate and professional ever. As good as any i have seen in football in fact.

I agree, its put a downer on the result. I fully expect at least one of our stands to be closed for the first home game of the champions league.

Whatever your sentiments about politics, don't bring it into a sports game. Seen enough of that horseshit at the olympics. It's an arena of sport, It's about two football teams not about two countries.

most likely but we dont play israelis every week, it wont be seen as "they do it every week" though.

the last thing we need is half our stadium shut if not all of it becasue of a bunch of palestine flags. i for one couldnt give a toss about conflict between israel and palestine.
